Or Isco? Or Madrid buy Rooney/Mata/Suarez and loan him to us out of spite? They all sound ridiculous but there aren't that many players out there who are clearly better than Willian. I won't get my hopes up but if we pull something like this off then this window will truly be the stuff of legend.

That was the first thing that came to my mind too... but it makes some sense given the last medical we did on a player and what happened after. That or Lamela is so impressive he can be in two places at once (which would give us 12 against 11 on match day which could be another skill he brings... maybe he can teach the rest of the squad!).

Can't see us having a 'surprise' signing, to me that indicates someone we haven't been linked with and is world class. Can't see how that it's under wraps with everyone around the world, no ITK on it and we suddenly announce it out the blue.
