Not so - Evens represents 50%

5/2 represents a 2 in 7 chance.

ahem ... perhaps i can be of assistance...

If i get this right ........If say, for example.....Super Pav (out of any one of a multitude of spurs past and present strikers) was wildly yet aimlessly swinging a banjo around a farmyard chock full of contented immobile cows for every 5 wild and disinterested swings of the banjo he would be likely to connect with a cows arse precisely twice...........

Whereas, Didier Drogba, who is no stranger to knowing a cows arse, would bring home the bacon (sorry to mix metaphors ... and indeed animals), connecting with 11 cows arses whilst using only 8 swings......

Therefore Drogba much much much more likely to be successful than pav........

...next week quadratic equations to prove that John Terry and Suarez kiss their grandmothers using tongues.

I'm not too bothered this window tbh, the time I usually spend wading through these threads in the desperate hope of spurs signing someone like kaka i will instead use masturbating over the league table.

My mate who likes his ligue 1 football recons it would take 25 mil plus to sign him!

He's Henry like apparently

Doesnt seem all that to me looking at his record

Using that logic, we shouldn't have signed Modric/Parker. He has played as a winger as well, take that into account.

His stats really aren't that bad - in two years at Nice he got 26 in 68, compared to Pavy's 76/21 and Defoe's 78/32 (2nd spell) for us. At the moment for Marseille he's on 44/21, which is pretty superb going.

Also, last season he got 16 assists in Ligue 1 compared to VDV's 9, in two less games. He can set them up and bang them in, let's go for it.

Anyone heard anything about Kalou?

same names I'm being told Cahill or Samba.

Plus enquiry into Kalou ??

Doesnt sound promising, i hope we not going for him, hopefully Levy wont sanction, squad player ok but he aint guna sit on the bench for us plus doubt we would pay him what he is currently on!

Hi there, could you tell me where you got 16 assists from ?

Assists are only at 3 here

Kalou isn't good enough to start regularly for a Chelsea team who have been struggling -sometimes good off the bench but not often enough and that isn't a good enough reason to sign him. Pav has sometimes been effective coming off the bench but I'd still sell him. We want an upgrade on Pav - Kalou isn't that player. Ba or Remy would do nicely but I don't see us getting either.

For cd Samba is the one I want in.

Kalou's a good player and a much cheaper alternative to Remy.

Would much rather save 10-15m and put it towards the elusive striker.
