The population of Brazil is 195,655,014, the population of Croatia is 4,407,000. Both teams are only allowed to field 11 players at a time. Statistically there is more chance of playing for Croatia 11/4.4m than Brazil 11/195.7m.

So, yeah.

Those statistics represent the opposite ie its easier to play for Croatia

I would like to think the there is a chance of either - but I would also say that AVB went after Will.i.an last year, Chelsea went for him earlier in the window (and then settled on Oscar), let's not dismiss him completely on the basis of the league he is playing in and not being first choice for Brazil!

I'm willing to bet that there is a decent player there - also, there is possibly some value in teaming him up with Sandro and Leandro ...

That doesn't make any sense 11/31000 is a much larger number than 11/195000000 and therefore its MUCH EASIER to play for San Marino. Am I going mad or do people on here not understand probability?

I think when displaying a ratio you should use : not / . that might ease the confusion
