Props to all the ITK who are nice enough to share their stuff on here. It’s a poisoned chalice on many occasion.

I was privvy to stuff about a decade ago and things can literally change without 30 mins of each other. Looking back I was a young, naive idiot with what I was privvy to and it’s takes some balls and a decent level of IQ to be able to articulate the sound bites and maintain a level head when relaying the info.

While not good news that our main striker target is pissing the transfer comitee off, the fact that he sees us as a fallback option could mean that he's a higher calibre than we've been expecting.

That's the downside. Do we get lesser quality earlier, or wait for the better player at the risk of it dragging on too long.
I would hope that Jose is clever enough to make the right decision to both him and the club.
