There will be nobody but that miserable git Phil Neville tomorrow. Harry's too inept to find us a striker. Levy's too cheap.

What they would rather do is buy us "winners", "champions", "players with character".....meaning two things....one) either they can't determine or won't pay for talent....and two) Harry doesn't know how to lead. Fergie, Mourinho, Pep, Guus and maybe Klopp, don't need somebody to lead FOR THEM. They don't need winners, they make winners. They teach their teams to win and they lead themselves. A manager that needs a winner on the pitch is looking for somebody to do his fucking job or at least an excuse.

What a negative and short sighted post.

Are you suggesting Fergie taught Keane to be a winner/champion/leader, Keane use to abandon friends when he was a child, just because they lost interest in football. Guardiola doesn't worry when Puyol and Iniesta aren't fit or available for big matches? Terry had all those battling qualities before Mourinho and after Mourinho at Chelsea.

I won't even entertain the other names, they don't belong in the conversation. We had our expensive flavour of the month from europe. He won the carling cup final but really, he sucked.

Redknapp has a difficult job, if anything he's achieved more with less than any of those. He made history at this club, when I am an old man I will tell my grandchildren about last season.

Fucking hell, do you ever stop!?

but he does have a valid point....this stuff about the bid is great and exciting but if we dont sign any of them it means nothing!....I remember Middlesborough saying we did somethign with Juhinio (sp) a few years back....great put the bid in bt get the player too....I wold hope DL and the board have researched the tax laws and the cost implications and Kuns wages and smmised they cold afford this otherwise they knwo both the media and us lot will say "say old Spurs just a PR stnt".....and why o why so late in the chffing window?!

After what's happened tonight we'll be the laughing stock of the league if we don't end up with a decent striker tby the end of the window.

Not saying this is our transfer strategy but had we, for example, agreed a £40m fee for Aguero two weeks ago, Real Madrid or Chelsea would probably have come in and beaten us to it. They can't when it's last minute.

We seem to be shadowing Madrid's bids and I wonder if there is a reason for it. If Atletico did turn down a bid from Real for Kun then we go in and we also go in for Llorente who it looked was Madrid bound is something afoot?

Oh interesting, I thought it was going to be something really disheartening but this is good shit.

I can see the logic, but it's flawed surely. The AM chairman only has to pick up a phone and call Chelsea and say Spurs have bid £40m, fancy going £44m ? It will take 10 minutes.
