I'd like to start this thread with a word about events over the past few days.

The last few days have been interesting to say the least......over the last few Transfer Windows we've worked hard to bring you all the ITK, here, in one place. Along the way we've tried to keep everyone happy but as i've often said, it's an impossible task.

The format we use during the Transfer Window and the rules within them have been in place since we first started. THAT IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE.

All of a sudden, a few posters fall foul of a rule that this forum has always been run by and kick up a stink about it. We've got along just fine with the rule in place for several years now as evidenced by the record numbers of people enjoying this part of the site.

A word about exclusions from the TR Forum.
Most people who fall foul of the rule are re-admitted after a few days or weeks anyway, depending on the nature of the reason they were excluded, anyone finding themselves banned a second time doesn't often get a third chance.

We've lost one ITK and over on COYS they've also lost one and we don't intend to allow a climate where the hounding of ITK's is allowed.

As has been the case since Day 1, abusing ITK will see your access to this part of the site taken away from you.

We can accept asking questions of an ITK who may post here 'in person' but there's a sensible, respectful way of going about it. The past few days have seen levels of nasty snide remarks that were previously untolerated which has in turn led to bickering and insults resulting in the whole thread becoming a lot less enjoyable for everyone.

Anyone indulging in abuse, petty snidyness or suchlike will lose their right to access this part of the site.

We're going back to that as of right now.

I still haven't finished going through the events of the past couple of days but when I have, some of you will find they have lost their access to these threads.

The rule is simple enough.

Anyone who doesn't like it is free to move on.

In order to get the message across to as many people as possible i'll be reposting the above several times between now and deadline day.

Now we've got that out of the way, back to business. Which is exactly what the mrs said to me after we'd had sex last night as she held out her hand and asked for £100.

Yesterday's ITK and the newspapers were more depressing than the journey home from a defeat against the scum. Several posters threatened self harm, ranging from hanging themselves to attaching electrodes to their testicles and having a fry up.

But come on guys........Hands up if you didn't really secretly know all along that it was going to pan out this way? Didn't Harry say it was probably going to be a quiet window? That's not to say we haven't been trying..........

First up was SC's ryantegan with Pav news....
Who: Rebrab
When: 28/1

Where: SC Harry wants experience and winning mentality or “something special”. We won't bother getting in someone that's not good enough

We bid for Kun (and Rossi, but that’s known) earlier in the window, but the player said he wouldn't come to us.

We’re genuinely going for Hulk, haven’t been given encouragement as such but they know they have to sell at some point. Unlikely but in with a shot, as with Benzema (who I'm told wasn't here on Monday  )

We’ve enquired about a lot of big strikers in the hope that they will sell up or we will unsettle them. None of them have gone anywhere, but we are hoping that something can happen in the next few days due to finance/funding another signing ect. Looks unlikely but we are being ambitious.

The only worry is that we will go for all these strikers and strike out on all of them. Our "back ups" at the moment are Forlan and Fabiano (no idea what order), but personally I am worried that Forlan will go to Italy and Seville will screw us around again at the last minute and we'll end up with nothing... but faith in DL that this won't happen.

Do NOT make the mistake of thinking we’re unambitious
Unfortunately, later events would lead to many making that exact claim. We're unambitious. It's going to be an interesting last few days!

I am getting a bit lost on here with different threads around ITK now so some of this might agree/support or even contradict other info, but this is what I have been told. Just to recap my source is close to coaching staff and management, but not to the Board or inside the club although Spurs through and through and genuine.

He is saying we are still working on several deals, in and outs and still on something "mega", the indications are;

Woody to go out on short term perhaps a month loan to get match fitness and be ready for the business end of the season. King very unlikely to get a squad number.
O'Hara, trying to get out on loan, but would accept a reasonable bid.
Gio, expect to be gone by Monday night probably Italy bound, but we might hold him back to cement another deal.
Kranky unlikely to go now until summer, but Fulham interested in him and Keane.
Wet Ham are trying to shaft us over Keane so unlikely to do business with them now and options running out.

Pav will almost certainly go firm bids are in and he is deciding if and where he wants to go.
Beckham will go back to USA unless we can do a "proper" deal.

No real news on the striker front except we are still trying could run until Monday, but have tried to wrap up sooner, but others keep f****** it up.

The Moriniho story is interesting in that apparently discussions did take place with him when Joel and again when Ramos was on the way out and he does like us, my source says "he would see us as the right challenge.

PS Harry's comments re wages etc are bollocks as Levy has upped limits and talking to players such as Bale on improved contracts up to £100k pw, having said that the club has had problems with foreign players, because of our tax laws.
Yet more ITK saying we're working on something big. Please let it happen!

Is anyone else puzzled by womens' magazines with articles like 101 ways to please your man? I can only think of three: Suck his dick, play with his balls and make him a sandwich.

Back to the ITK........Order must have been restored over on COYS because POTL posted......

no ins or outs today
Nice to see him back.

Meanwhile Paul Smith over on SO, in a rare posting, told us that Robbie Keane was at Upton Park.

He's at Upton Park this afternoon, so I've been told
Goodbye Robbie, I know some will be glad to see you go and TBH it's probably time you did, but thanks for the memories.

In a post titled 'Strikers' peanut said, possibly in response to a story appeared on Sky telling us Redknapp doubts we'll sign a striker.

He's (Harry) not lying and it's not a smokescreen. Been looking this way ever since he decided he didn't want Suarez.
Quote:
Had a go for Rossi, sniffed around Forlan, tried to get Fabiano on loan. None were ever close.
Quote:
Harry hasn't been able to make his mind up, been very half-hearted about targets. He should have said 'go and get X because with him we will finish top 4'. He let us start talking to Ajax and then decided he didn't want Suarez after all.
Not good news then is it? This was followed by much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

On the bright side, I was in bed with the wife last night and let out a huge fart.

"You're disgusting," she said. "You never did that when we first met. What happened that lovely bloke from thirty years ago?"
I said, "He's probably getting sucked off by that girl with the tighter arse and firm tits that used to love giving head"
That shut her up.

Our final piece of ITK came from CorlukaModric

Pav is staying with the club. Keane was offered to West Ham straight swap for Parker. Not the 2million plus Keane as reported by the Guardian. West Ham playing the waiting game and are happy to let the clock run down and try and get him on an initial loan deal. Expect this one to go to deadline day.

Blackpool interested in O'Hara. He will move to them on loan if Adam is sold. Villa have put in a bid for Jenas. Harry keen to swap him for Young but we have a shortage of 'fit' centre mids at the moment.

Hulk not happening. Neither is Forlan. We tried for Fabiano on loan but were rejected by Sevilla who wanted 15 million for a permanent deal. Enquired for Diarra and have been quoted 18 million.

By the end of the deadline we should have 1 in and 1 out (permanent deals) and 1 or 2 loans out.
Hands up anyone who really thought this whole thing wasn't going to end with a deadline day cliffhanger?

News reaches me that my nephew got into trouble at school yesterday.

Seems he got kicked out of class after the teacher asked him, "If I gave you £20 and you paid £5 to Joanne, £5 to Jane and £5 to Katie, what would you have?"

Apparently, "Three blowjobs and enough left for a kebab," was the wrong answer.

FINALLY...........A word about donations. A big thank you to everyone who has donated so far but i'm afraid we're like nymphomaniacs............

Surely the home of all things ITK is worthy of a donation or two?

Think of this bit as being in Church on a Sunday when the collection plate goes around. Only this time it isn't Nicdic holding it so anything donated WILL go toward the upkeep of the site.......

Every small donation toward the upkeep of SC is appreciated. Click on the link and part with the price of a Bagel with Cream Cheese & Salami, you know, the ones from the Ridley Road Bagel Bakery.......every bit does make a difference! Do it! NOW!

Some Pool fans talking about Torres wanting to leave would like Robbie / Crouchie back. £35m and those two. Job done.

With the "lack of ambition" the club is showing so far, why would Torres want to come here?
Pool are going to finish above us and as far as I remember 8th place don't even get you into europa league :bang:

When will we learn to have a bid ready for a striker, before the window opens.

I'm sure it's not strictly the case, but we always seem so unprepared for dealings during the transfer window.

I just wonder if Torres moves, is that likely to affect Suarez's decision to join......after all, its not a done deal yet.

Except when we had a DoF and made our main summer signings in May/June (e.g. Berbatov and Modric).

It's definitely time to bring back a dedicated transfer expert and let Redknapp get on with coaching.

Any striker who has scored more than one goal in their league is statistically better than Crouch, Defoe and Keane. I just don't buy this comment by Harry, that it's so hard to find better.

I know it's not as simple as all that, but still.

I firmly believe we won't sign a striker this January now.....however I shall still be sat in front of sky sports news, spurs commmunity, and the bbc website literally all day on Monday!!

I really want to say all is not lost and Defoe and Crouch will hit form and Harry will give Pav more games but even I don't believe it, even though I'm the one saying it
