Would not go a penny higher than £8m for Bolasie personally

Wouldn't go for him at all as we would just continue the never ending cycle of buying/selling squad players that never quite make the grade. Selling Lamela or Andros and then buying Bolasie makes no sense what so ever. We should be looking to upgrade the stating 11 not buying more players to fill up the overall squad that after a season or two we end up struggling to move on.

I'm really hoping Son comes in and ends the Bolasie link. Interesting about the 4, I'd be happy with a really good 3. Should be doable for a fair net amount if 3/4 of those players mentioned leave. Will be an epic week if we can turn around 7/8 deals.

Circa £20m net spend.

Poch wanted Illara as his main target so the club waited until the player made his decision. What is the problem with that? For all you know the MANAGER has indicated that he would rather we wait to see if we can sign his main target rather than leave the running early and sign up an alternative. I don't see why that is so hard for someone like you to understand?

The club are not buying players to yours or my deadline. They are trying to back the manager with players he wants.

You just need to sit down and wind it in until the window is shut.

That's what I'd guess. Hopefully Townsend gets an offer from a team like S'ton. Genuinely feel that, with the proposed increased pace and movement in the front 4 (if we get our signings), a creative player like Lamela will thrive.
