Anyone who's daft enough to say something as simplistic as 'Crouch is shit' really shouldn't be involved in the selection policy for their own breakfast let alone a football team.

Ask Rafael Van der Vaart who of our strikers he likes playing upfront with. I suspect that his theory wouldn't be 'Crouch is shit'. But then we all know more than VdV I suppose.

Fair point! peter crouch has no pace, has a terrible touch, does keep ups on the half way line before getting the ball taken from him after 3rd keep up. Has the strength of a 13 year old and a shot of a 9 year old. which hardly reaches the goal mouth if the shot is over 15 yards away..! Is also one of the worst header of a football for such a big guy..

Our plan A, B and C were very decent last year, things haven't changed much this and Crouch was a vital part of what we did last year.

Well Archie may have heard the warnock info late but they have already agreed a deal in principle to take warnock on loan. He is due to tie up loose ends this week.

Re surarez I was told earlier today that pool had still not agreed a fee and were some way off. So either things have changed dramatically this afternoon or once again their twitter group have got ahead of themselves.

A slight word of warning would be that he is their number 1 Target, without a shadow of doubt

Could it be more a case of what we pay now and what the add ons are rather than the total valuation do you think? Maybe it has more to do with how it's to be paid rather than the total cost, and that's what we're maybe negotiating on. Afterall, Daniel Levy does love to break these transfer fees down :grin:

That is his house, 100%. I know because I live fairly close to him. His house has been on the market for quite some time, about a year (it was with Hetherington's before). Nothing to worry about, he's not leaving the club.
