I would hope we'd keep Fredericks if Naughton goes. I don't want Naughton to be sold personally but I can understand why he wants to leave because he won't get first-team football here. I suppose the links to Miguel Lopes signing on loan could be true?

He's a good understudy to Walker but his stock is high at the min and it's the right time to sell him. I'd happily keep Fredericks as Walker's cover but if we succeed in bringing in Musacchio we could keep Kaboul and Chiriches happy by using them as an auxiliary right back if needed.

Stobart was AVB's mouthpiece, not so sure he is so well informed these days, more opinion I believe. JJ is bang on the money 99.9% of the time, the other .1% well! got to leave a bit of wriggle room.

It's quite well known who Stobart's source is and it's boardroom level, so it's nothing to do with the manager.

The abuse POTL got after Willian was disgusting. People want those in the know to give them information before a transfer is finalised yet cannot accept the uncertainty that comes with that. Transfers involve many parties and therefore several obstacles. One being competition.

If you only want info when it's "done", go on official site. In Willian's case, it was blatantly far advanced. Fee was agreed, terms were agreed and the player was undertaking a medical. 99% of transfers are completed from this stage so those in the know, acted on more than good faith. The idiots who couldn't accept this have hounded out a decent person who was kind enough to supply information.

I hope he/she is kind enough to return.

Jason Burt was AVB's guy.....incidentally he has basically stopped publishing anything about Spurs as soon as AVB moved along.

Am I right in thinking, judging by JJ's tweet, that we are happy to sell one of Paulinho, Capoue, Dembele and Sandro?

The thing that worries me is that he's only had 2 days training with Dembele and Sandro and hasn't even seen Paulinho in training yet.

He knows what he's doing I guess. I defo wouldn't want to see 2 of them go to make way for MS. 1 I can deal with (if Poch really wants him which he obviously does) but 2? not for me

Sandro is in pictures with Holtby on their way to Finland. He's at least making the squad for this flight. I guess if one of Paulinho, Capoue or Dembele are not present, that may be more revealing.

@SpursOffical just sent a pic of Sandro out on the official Social Media feeds ... after the Rose reaction debacle yesterday ... perhaps they have backtracked on getting rid of Sandro, him being a fan favourite and all, figuring that it would be toxic to keep Rose and get rid of Sandro (along with Dawson, literally the last fan favourite left!) same window?
