So if the tribunal turns around and says £10 million? I assume we have the option of backing out of this until a final price has been agreed otherwise it'd be a bit crazy.
Presumably you can dispute a tribunal decision if the fee decided on is that far out of reality. Basically the tribunal HAVE to go on precedent and there's been no precedent set of that kind before. It's a tiny gamble, but ultimately history shows that tribunals tend to screw the club who have the lost the player, not the other way round.

Thinking about it more i'd say that in order for there to be a tribunal in the first place then the player would have had to have signed for a team.

Although the news on ledley is deviating yet expected, the greatest defender of his generation, at least it gives us spurs fans something real to reflect on rather than the shite of the past 3 days! Thanks for being the best ledley king

eg. Bostock from Palace and Simon Jordan's subsequent meltdown...

Surely Ade will be tied up by the time we depart for the States? Surely...

'These things take time' 'Don't you understand business?'

Ask BC, he'll tell you, a failure to tie things up in good time and try to realistically strengthen is perfectly acceptable apparently.

If Ade isn't tied up and Luka's off, we're looking weaker than last year. Big things are coming though, POTL hasn't came out with patience is a virtue yet has he?

You'd like to hope the club have learnt from last few years...

yes those names illustrate my piont perfectly

You have made no point?! You asked for another, others were offered....

If the point you were making was that they hadn't produced any other than Lennon and Milner, it was wrong...

Jonathan Woodgate
Alan Smith
Harry Kewell
Paul Robinson
Kelly and Harte...

Well who would have thought it. Personal terms being easier then agreeing a fee with City

i would think that the amount of the fee to City will have a direct correlation to the package offered to Ade so i do question one can be finalsed fully without the other

Yes I read BC's response to your rant on here last night - and every single word of it was spot on.

I'm only mentioning Adebayor because all ITK for the last week or more has suggested it was imminent.

Signing ade is gonna be a massive anti-climax after all the wait! Plus his signing doesn't improve us it purely keeps us as we were last year- and even then we needed another striker...

Been a bad week so far... Plus we guaranteed pre-season injuries next week as usual///

U just know Jenas is somehow gonna play against Newcastle sob sob
