Yeah Fryers is a bit of a coup I think especially as it has put Fergies nose further out of joint. I think we have a policy whereby for the next 10 years plus we will only spend money on, and go abroad for, exciting shiny new creative midfielders and strikers. Defence is sorted.

Smith/Naughton - Lascelles - Caulker - Fryers (all represented England)
Don't we have a young Croatian-sounding centre back who is highly regarded as well. Was playing with the 17/18 yr olds when he was 15. Think he played the other night.

Another promising youngster added to the ranks is always a good thing and if this is followed up by Hall and Lascelles then i'm hoping at least one will make it in the first team.

Would expect all three to be loaned out though, most likely to Championship outfits.

A good mate of mine is a passionate Manure fan (no accounting for taste) and is furious that they have not been able to hang on to Fryers. He rates him very highly and hopefully their loss is our gain. I hope this is the case as, if so, he will provide excellent back up for Benny. I fear that Rose just does not have what it takes to develop further and would perhaps be better off moving to a smaller club.

Playing games gets me in a good mood. The ITK is merely an interest in the off season for me. Last nights game upped my mood for example. Be nice when pre season is well under way and our first teamers are ripping it up.

When that happens I couldn't care less ad to who we almost signed or who we thought was too expensive!
