Yes. Holtby started his career in Germany, Hargreaves in Canada/Germany. Holding a passport doesn't make a player homegrown. It's all about where and when you played (Siggy for example is considered homegrown due to his years at Reading)

Surely Breezer and LLM have proved their worth to go into the RO?

I'm fine with trawling through but will save many people more busy than myself valuable time having their info in the RO as opposed to lost in 20-30 pages of idle chat.

Not knocking specific ITK's or the Mod's vetting process but I'm seeing people make the RO from OTHER sites who have contradicted themselves and got way more wrong this window than right.

I think the two aforementioned have done enough in many of ours eyes to prove they get info without having their sources 'verified'.

Wouldn't drop much I wouldnt have thought. If Thudd goes for £5m siggy would go for at least the £8m we paid.

Not to mention JJ vouched for LLM in a post a few days ago. He ended up deleting the post (before anyone asks what it said it didn't say anything new, so don't even bother asking) so im not sure if the mods saw it, but he definitely did vouch for LLM's ITK status.

Interesting stuff. If both go, can only imagine they'll bring in a striker as well. Don't think lamela or Willian can be classed as such.

God forbid if Soldado was to get injured/suspended then we'd only have the youth to rely on or sticking one of the AMs up top.

Edit - on further thought maybe Franco is going for a Lamela+Osvaldo double

There is still a certain someone who can do a job up top if needed....with him in the mix, it would be a pretty fluid frontline!

I always enjoy reading posts that start "not knocking specific ITKs or the Mod's ..." because they're usually a massive signpost for doing exactly that ...
