3 other clubs contacted them with bids all accepted, all turned down by JM. Quite simple, they only have one option and he's not as interested as he was anymore and his heads been turned due to the good start AVB and his team have had here.

So I take it it's like a Modric situation where the club aren't that keen on selling but the player is making noises so they've decided just to cash in? Also, any idea on those 3 clubs? It would be interesting to know whether he's turned down bigger clubs in order to work with AVB.

I've heard similar, was told that Mouts wants us and AVB has told DL that signing Mouts will get us CL.

In regards to the last update, If I had the choice between Moutinho, Isco and Eriksen, I would go for Isco but either of Sneijder or Moutinho would push us to the top 3

PSG, Chelsea and Zenit St Petersburg.

Thanks for your info and responses, I know you're just the messenger and feeding off info given to you but I'm very sceptical. Ok, I understand turning down Zenit and even PSG due to the fact that they have a million midfielders already. If Chelsea were interested though I think he'd go for it. They can offer him so much more than we can and even if it weren't money related they would offer him first team football as he'd be perfect alongside Ramires in the centre.

All I can say is that he really must love AVB......a lot.

But nonetheless, thanks for the info. (y)

Chelsea want him as Lampards replacement but JM has said the structure of the club isn't for him.

If true I would gain a lot of respect for him. Nowadays the money clubs like chelsea would offer seems to beat stuff like "club structure", but hopefully he just love AVB to much!

It's always down to money, he would go to Chelsea if they offered him the money, it's mainly because he has the fear that with managers coming and going it's detrimental to his long term future.

I feel so sorry for Wesley Sneijder, what's the poor lad gonna do now?

[I'll also quote myself from yesterday just so it looks like i'm Mystic Meg or something: You know what? If this was a massive smokescreen to get Porto to man the fuck up and sell us Moutinho, that'd do me just fine too ]

Before someone posts my tweet, regarding Neils tweet, Porto have contacted us asking us if we're still interested, Wesley is all but a smokescreen it would seem. If you followed me in the summer it comes from same guy who told me Freund was our new assistant and Rafa wanted to move, not had any mishits so far, so fingers crossed. Not a proper ITK only get drips and drabs to be a full fledged ITK.
And all of this happened during Christmas Day and Boxing Day?
Also don't understand your comment "there's one option (us?) and he's not as interested as he was and his head's been turned because of AVB's good start". Sorry, I may be, being slow, but that didn't make sense to me.

Spoke about Moutinho and Sneijder with Ben. Wages would be massive for Sniejder. His response...

@BFairthorne: @Jonny_Moffett I think #Pjanic most likely.

No, the Wesley rumour mill to us has been dotting about through various agents, news outlets, but it's just picked up lately, every day is working days for football clubs. It's just now Porto don't know whether it's smokescreen or genuine interest, and with them having Hector Herrera lined up for 9 million they realise that as JM is insistent to work with AVB again, they don't have many options.

That clearer mate?

Smokescreens! I always knew they were a legitimate transfer negotiation technique!

Must...not ...get..excited...must...be..skeptical

If we do end up buying moutinho (hopefully not too eye-watering for poor Danny L) I insist he arrives in xmas wrapping a raffle will be held for fans to determine which lucky souls get to unwrap him.

Here's something I don't know whether to find hilarious or ****ish.

Chelsea are still using AVB's scouting reports he compiled for transfer targets from November to January.
