They offered him 2K a week. He could earn that in League One FFS. I dunno, they seem to collect or develope these promising youngsters and then expect them to stay twiddling their thumbs watching old man Giggs waddling around every week purely so they can savour the smell of banconface's farts.

Do they not know what an honour it is to pumice Mrs. Baconfaces aged feet every week?!

He's got so used to, what seems to him, the whole world and its wife sucking him off. For a young player to refuse to bend down and suck the dregs from his crusty haggard teet, hopefully it'll be a catalyst for the end of his career.

Yep. Not sure why they go to the effort of poaching promising youngsters like Pogba though and then let him about 5 minutes of playing time only to drag Scholes out of the retirement home. If they weren't fussed about Fryers et al etc then why the fuss?

Basically, they should shut their holes and continue doing what they're doing. Everyone's happy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of our yoofs find their way upto that shithole though. Then again, they do that to multiple clubs all the time so I doubt they'd do that just out of petty revenge but as just part of the way they go about business.

What is really pissing them off is DL not only privately telling them to insert their own heads up their bottoms a few yrs back, he's done it rather publically now. He's disrespected the family, so to speak.

Think it ties in though. I remember seeing the figure of $25m bandied around earlier today. That's about £15m or €18m. Probably just quoting each other's stories anyway. Recycled waste.

The articles all say $50m (brazilian dollar), which equals 18m euros. He's just tweeted in euros because his followers would be able to refer more easily to that figure.

I don't know what is going there tbh. Giggs and Scholes are still very capable players obviously but does anyone think that 10-15 yrs ago they'd still be within a mile of OT at their age? No, they'd have been shiped out pronto a few yrs back and replaced properly. Probably wishful thinking (almost definitely is) as they do have the ability to go on a massive spending spree after all as witnessed in the summer of 07 but maybe we're seeing the first signs of creaking.

Think you will find we almost bought him off Portsmouth as a 22 year old - apparantly paid a £1m deposit before Portsmouth went bust and Begavic then wewnt up north instead and we had to wait a little time to get our £1m deposit back.

No we got lucky, had they gone in to administration earlier we may of never got that money, we were about to sign him but he got the hump when he got to our training ground after seeing croatia's no.1 signing for us or on trail then signing for us

I remember when i could go out to the pub 7 days a week in my teens and have no hangover! now im lucky if i do 1 night and dont end up with the sweats, and the infamous falling feeling in bed the following night.......bad times!
