Of all the bits of business this summer, I have to say I thought Spence and Eriksen would be the easiest ones to do. Eriksen not happening and Spence looking like we're going a different direction, quite surprised it's been that difficult to do but I don't think that reflects on us just merely how deals go sometimes.

1. We haven’t beaten Inter to Bremer which we thought was the cryptic answer.

2. We’ve basically had Lenglet signed on the dotted paper since Friday, yet for some reason we’re holding off completing the deal.

3. Bastoni was clearly our top target for a ball-playing LCB.

4. Hercules quickly after Bremer news broke said we have switched targets, which suggests it’s about the CB position.

5. Inter are still yet to make any sales, and some inter fans speculate that even if they sell Skriniar it won’t be enough to fund signing Bremer.

6. The cryptic answer quoted above follows a similar guideline to A&C’s last i.e. RIN.

With all these points, I don’t think it’s too crazy to assume that Bastoni could be back on the table?
