Usually, there would be a reminder in here about how you should read the rules and all that bollocks but today I don't want to overburden the odd one or two of you with what is obviously rocket science.

Let's kickstart the day with the Jason Burt article regarding our offer for Damiao which we knew would be in today's Telegraph.

The article has popped up in Sunday's issue of the Irish Independent.

http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...amiao-after-securing-holtby-deal-3343397.html

Key Points:
  • Tottenham planning £15 million bid for Leandro Damiao
  • Emmanuel Adebayor expected to go to African Cup of Nations (Has until January 9th to decide)
  • AVB wants Damiao but feels he can cope with Defoe and Dempsey
  • Lewis Holtby coming in January was discussed but all agreed to wait until July
  • Fulham expected to bid for Huddlestone on a permanent deal
  • Livermore expected to go on loan to QPR
Nothing new really...

Makes sense to sign LD now since ade will go to ACN. Mark my words, LD would be our best signing yet.

I am not sure what I find less likely, signing Leandro or AC ending this window with a tattoo of AqkaWUM across his chest.

Are the phrases 'The clock windles' and 'Home time in Levy time' suggesting another deadline day attempt for Moutinho? :banghead:

the opposite, i'd have thought. That Andre points at the clock and says it is now time to bring Joao home.

Although I don't really know what 'windles' means. Turns, winds, perhaps..

He's been there for a few days now.. Looks to be a family holiday for the most part, but there are rumours that he may be leaving.

odd time to take a family holiday. I suppose he isn't playing, but it is one of the 2 occasions when a player can be sold.. it is also the off-season in Brazil, lots of transfers going on.
