Sitting on the fence, like the courage you show here in what is practically an anonymous world!
Delivers? What is it you think would be happy with? The capital one cup? Oh know he fecked that up already!!!!

And you would fire him if he gets us to play good football, climb up the table rapidly and say win UEL?

If we had held on to the 1-0 lead yesterday of course everyone would be saying he should get the job permanently.
If all his 1 match tenure does is to show everyone Adebayor should be in our best xi he has done us that service.

Apparently he's only adept at coming at opponents from behind…

What is it you were expecting on wednesday night? Honest question. Its clear you dont have any kind of expectation for TS, which is fair, we have little to go on in terms of what he is able to do but maybe, just maybe the benefit of the doubt can be given here.

OK, he doesnt appear to be that like-able a character..... and he doesnt have that much if any experience but what choice do we have right now????

He didnt sack AVB, in fact, he had nothing to do with AVB's failure to produce a mildly consistent system of football that we as the fans demanded.

We didnt have anyone else in place to take the role..... again not Tim Sherwoods fault.

All he is guilty of is actually taking a ballsy risk, taking on our team and trying to get the best of them in a fucked situation that was not of his doing.

So he failed after 2 days at his first chance at managing one of the biggest teams in the country and because he failed at the first attempt after having (according to Dembele) one proper training session to instill anything other than a bit of confidence some vague tactics and a team spirit in an already suffering side, he has been absolutely ripped to shreds by a number of people on here who seem more than anything to just be pissed off and taking it out on the person who is not to blame for our current predicament.

I dont want him as a permanent manager but while he is here ill be giving him the respect i do to all our managers and i wont be writing him off or making assumptions about his or anyone elses ability after one game where we were laying a practically second string team 2 days after our previous manager had left along with the work he had been doing with the players.

Ok ok! My very cheap dig at Tim Sherwood (was quite a funny thought I had, or at least I thought my thought was quite funny so I shared it) was not supposed to be taken so seriously, i was trying to lighten the mood.

Carryon laughing!

You asked one question, what was I expecting? Freund to be in charge not Tim.

Fair enough. I guess it would have been a similar gamble to take which could have proved more successful.

I think the crux of what i am saying applies though. I dont think any of us would have been 100% happy with Freund as a short term interim coach either, especially as he has no one to work with at the club that he has worked with on a solo / managerial basis with before.

Sherwood, Ferdinand and Ramsey at least have a working relationship together in a similar role albeit not at the same level.

Is the kind of football, personnel and formation employed on Wednesday give you belief that Tim is up to the job for the rest of the season? Because it doesn't do me.

He had one training session, so why change everything so radically? If he really believed in possession football between the lines, then surely all he had to do is keep the 4-2-3-1 and urge the players to play with a much higher tempo? Instead he turned us into a headless chicken team, just throwing balls into the box aimlessly just hoping we would score.

I will criticise him because I dislike his character and if Wednesdays match is anything he is also a tactical dinosaur so fuck him.

Don't be too hard on yourself, it was funny.
Nevermind Tim sitting in his office crying.

Im not going to argue - if thats how you feel then that how you feel. I have approached this situation from a different state of mind.

AVB lost his first game in charge for us too you know.... after more time to work with the team than TS did. It was also a premier league match filled with the bulk of our best players not a practically reserve team featuring a CM as CB a long term injured LB returning from injury and a group of player probably a lot of tougher to liven up after being thrashed 5-0 3 days previous and having their manager sacked 2 days previous.

Sometimes circumstance can allow for a tiny, itty bit of wiggle room in the "fuck him" department but again, im not going to say our wrong for feeling the way you do, its understandable to a degree..... I just dont see the point in being so negative without having a little bit more substance behind your reasoning.

I was trying to be open minded before Wednesday but that match just confirmed my suspicions that Dim is just a mouthy 'Arry wanna be without the managerial experience. He had a chance to prove all the naysayers wrong and not revert to type of a British 442 headless chicken football but he didn't. I don't want my football club going down that route as frankly I think it's a massive step in the wrong direction.

And if he plays a 4-3-3 on sunday utilizing the new talent we have in our squad?

I would not be at all shocked if Tim gets the job. Look I never wanted AVB to leave, it was a stupid decision. But at the moment Sherwood is our manager and we should get behind him and give him a chance.

Against West Ham we had the spine of the team missing and it really wasn't a good indicator on how things will play out. We will find out shorty exactly what kind of manager Tim is but people really need to keep an open mind. He might be the next Bill Nicholson for all we know, (another manager with no experience before taking on the spurs job) not that I expect him to be. But be patient..

He left Lamela out of the squad and Holtby and Eriksen on the bench. Seeing he is pretty much on trial don't you think he should have been a little bit more adventurous with his choice of formation and personnel?

You have to reserve judgement for now, of course. I'm nervous about Sunday though, it should reveal quite a bit in terms of how he intends to approach the League. 4-4-2, and they'll eat us for breakfast down there, we'll be get completely over run in the middle of the pitch.

I think he should of been less adventurous if he could. Sig is not a CM, Holtby would of been a better option.
