If we had held on to the 1-0 lead yesterday of course everyone would be saying he should get the job permanently.
If all his 1 match tenure does is to show everyone Adebayor should be in our best xi he has done us that service.

Were you really pleased at half time? Did you really see anything that you thought it had been worthwhile him sitting in the east stand studying for all those years?

I was lost after 25 mins im afraid.

Genuinely baffled by how few positive points you have from so many posts with such posts as ITT.

Allow me to make the 81st step to redress this imbalance.

Joined in 2004 so probably made most of his posts before the rating system was put in.

Edit: Just realized that sounds a little creepy. I know everything about you "whatsappnin" :ninja:

I was worried that might happen. One game is not evidence of anyones ability, but some people reduce it down to "AVB lost 5-0, Sherwood won 1-0 so he should be our next manager".

Adebayor had one decent game and you think that's enough to permanently put himself in the first team? None of the bad games he's had matter now?

Ade has been unfit for much of the time since his permanent move. When fit he is still about as good a striker as we could get and he has played a number of good games for us.
As for sherwood, you can't really tell from one game but he does seem to prefer the British players which is a serious problem when our best players aren't British. Would be gutted if he became our permanent manager.

He's been fit enough to play and I don't recall AVB suggesting that he was unfit. The only issue was when we signed him he wasn't match fit for a few weeks
