Because we’ve all of a sudden stopped winning trophies since he came?! 1 in 18 years since Levy been at the club.
I like poch but I don't think he is as good as pep, klopp, mourinho all of them for me have that certain X factor a winning streak that sadly poch doesn't have.
I think he will serve his time with us in a similar way to how I see the team which is the nearly man of football, the close but not close enough mantra is possibly going to be his legacy.

Probably in the hope that the signings would reinvented the team, they haven’t.

The problem isn’t 4 games. It’s the last 7/8 months.

People that are harping back to the CL final are so deluded. We were lucky not to be 2/3 down away at Dortmund at HT there.
If Aguero scores that pen we go out with a whimper against City.
Ajax had numerous attempts to finish us off, mainly the one that hit the post in the first leg.

We were outplayed in all those games and got through with loads of luck.

Then in the final we were pathetic

This is a long decline. If this was Sherwood he would be on his way out, if this was AVB he would be on his way out.

We are poor and it won’t change against Arsenal, it’s going to be embarrassing if we play like we have been.

Poch does have more in the bank but at some point (probably 4/5 games) Levy will know that the season is still saveable

When was the last time you watched us and thought “yeah, we are looking good here”

Huddersfield? That doesn’t count.

Apart from that I really can’t think

People ignoring the performances over the last 15 games are blind IMO.

well I can answer the biggest problems in the last 3½, BURNOUT, INJURIES and a lot of fixtures

Tactically he is not as astute and that is the difference.

We only aspire to win titles because of Poch. Everyone giving him shit for not winning anything, we’ve only one trophy in the 18 years that Levy has been running the club so it’s not like he is the reason for a barren run.

Poch needs to start doing his shit and stop playing mind games with Levy through his press conferences. He needs to have it out with Levy if he is really pissed off or disillusioned as it is clearly coming across every time he speaks to the press. Levy has to make it work and if it means he needs to compromise himself then so be it, Poch has earned that right.
Not disagreeing with that sentiment, Poch has certainly got us closer than any. How long are we prepared to wait for it though

I can guarantee you that if Poch had managed Messi at Barca, then Bayern and now City he’d have plenty of bling in his medal drawer.

Klopp is a sensational manager, but he was accused of choking finals for years too.

I saw this thread and decided that it would be better for my health if I didn't venture in. Then I saw a poster in another thread comment that he was concerned about what VY had said. So I did a search and found this:
Lost the dressing room....Tick tock
If just about anybody else had posted that, I would've reasoned that we've heard constantly about Poch having empathy with his players; and while he appears to take a hard line on those who put themselves before the team I would've considered it to be impossible for him to lose the dressing room. But VY said it.

Then I saw this....
Could well be quick and it could well be Maureen.....
.... and nearly shit myself.

Like most Spurs fans, I really hope that the obvious malaise that we've all witnessed on the pitch this year is something that is temporary and can be cured by Poch and the rest of his coaching staff. But I have to admit that I'm very concerned.

Thanks Val.

Thats disrespectful. Keith won us the Eufa cup (when it was a big deal) and also the fa cup twice (also when it was a big deal). Also won the charity sheild as well.

Thats light years ahead in trophies in the bank over poch. Know your history. Fluke goal by villa, are you joking. Until poch puts some silverware in the cupboard then please don't. It's very disrespectful to Keith and the fans who were elated at those trophies.
What bit of “not my thoughts” didn’t you understand ?

As to Burkinshaw winning trophies and the fans being elated, i went to Brussels as a 15 y/o so trust me I know about the elation but that paled into insignificance compared to being in Amsterdam last season. I’m with Poch on the importance of cups, other than the CL, relative to the league and CL. Shreeves was way more successful in that regard than Burkinshaw and in my lifetime as a fan the only Spurs manager to get close to winning the league. So please don’t lecture me on being disrespectful as if I don’t know my history and haven’t lived and breathed this club.

Not sure about that pep and klopp play much more progressive football than poch it makes them much more devastating than our boring shit, unlike klopp poch won't win a CL final for us that was his moment but poor team selection and a unmotivated team did for him.

I personally don’t think he would get anywhere near what Guardiola has achieved. I think he may of won something, particularly at Bayern, but he wouldn’t of transformed city the way Guardiola has.

To be fair not many coaches are anywhere close to Pep

These are just pointless comparisons....there's no way of knowing what Poch could achieve with unlimited spending.

You can't compare because Poch has never been given years with unlimited resources, he'd have won the league 100% if he'd been at City with the same backing Pep has had, even if I think Pep is the better coach.

But both managers have been backed to the hilt. You can’t compare them with Poch if he hasn’t had the same backing. We were not boring as shit a year or two ago. Summer 2017 if you had asked anyone who had followed the PL closely that season which of the three teams were most impressive which do you think they’d have gone for? Yes we are boring currently but we are where we are because he hasn’t been backed and foolishly he’s throwing his toys out of the pram and it’s now coming back to bite him.

I know it's easy to tag Pep with the unlimited resources and teams he has managed line. However he is the best coach I have ever witnessed, the way his teams perform and the levels his players achieve and consistently break their previous best is phenomenal.

Look at Sterling, he is ruthless and his numbers rival Kane, Salah and anyone in the league. Imagine what he could do with some of our players.
