Bayern are one of the Uber Big Boys, mind you. Not many bigger European clubs than them!

On paper, historically, bigger than Inter Milan, probably.

I think we'd have a really good go at AC...

It wouldn't surprise me if come May it's Real Madrid at Wembley winning the whole thing though (if it's not us, it'll be Real, put it that way!!! ha ha!)

Perhaps omit bayern and put barca

That one gets a Churchill "ooooooh yyyyes!"

Tis true, but they still haven't got that cache that real or barca do imo, they haven't got that sparkle.

This is so strange. For years I've looked forward to the Champions league group draws, especially having Arsenal, Cheslea and Liverpool supporting mates.

Now this time we're actually in the draw as well!! I'm hoping for one of Inter, AC Milan, Barca, Real Madrid or Bayern. If we get any one of those teams (and I know we could get two, with Real Madrid in another pot) I'll be very, very happy.

you're ruling out Barca and the current holding champions based on what? Flashes of brilliance from two German midfielders?

Barca are gonna just as awesome as last time around, but with the added firepower of Villia. They're gonna ooza class and are probably, on paper, the most complete team ever.

It is wholly surreal isn't it. Still finding it hard to comprehend. After all we've been through, all the pain and struggle, to be here is just amazing. Watchign the draw will really bring it home.

The fact that Mourinho turns his squad of players into a team of winners!

Let's be honest he went to Inter Milan and they were miles away from winning a CL before he went there. Within 2 seasons he'd changed them.

He will turn that talented group of individuals into a team! Make no mistake.

Of course it's only my opinion. I wouldn't rule out Barca or Inter, of course not! But Real will be there or there abouts too, don't you think?

The reality check will be after a glorious bash at getting to the knockout stages and failing, bombing out to the lowly Europa thingy, we wholly forget about the requirement to qualify for next season's tourny. How sick would one's cockerny parrot be?

To be honest I don't fear anyone in the draw, you got to beat them at some point. We tend to raise our game against the big boys anyway, I say bring it on. I'd love Barcelona though, I'd sell my soul to try and get a ticket to that one. Although I'd rather Barcelona Vs Tottenham at Wembley round two:wink:

This. Definitely this!

Spurs-Barca, at the Lane? Yes please!

Absolutely no chance of getting a ticket for that!

How many center backs and right backs do they have though?

I think actually making it there has lifted a lot of the weight off of our boys, there will be no expectation on us to win it and the lads will just go out and express themselves relatively freely I suspect. If we do progress and the pressure mounts then we'd be more prone to melting down, but I think whoever we have to begin with we will shoot out of the traps and have an exciting first 2/3 games.

I know! Would be hell of a game, both great attacking teams, Bale Vs Messi:wink: I'd still just try and get up there for the atmosphere around the ground before kick off, be an amazing night.

Could probably get a ticket for the Camp Nou game in with the Barca supporters.

I think it would be a great game too. Both Lennon and Bale would cause them a lot of trouble at the back. But they'll keep the ball well and be lethal in attack (especially if they sign Ibra). It could be a goal fest.

Been thinking exactly the same thing.
