i see there are still people here calling for capoue, because he is a true dm unlike the current preferred pairing. complete cobblers. he does the same job as bentaleb, in shaping the first stage of an attack by exchanging passes with defenders then trying to find the front four. only he doesnt track see weimann goal at villa or gets caught out of position see bojans goals home to stoke. and his attitude including in training by all accounts is not the best.
i can see more of a case for Stam, but we looked equally unstable with him in the two.
the main cause of our fragility is a mix of systemic and personnel floors in other positions. the full backs often get caught upfield, because they are told provide attacking width. i dont blame walker or rose for vardys goal the other week for this reason.
i also prefer dembele at 10, because he instinctively drops back a little to help out against those who crowd the mids, thus providing more of a shield. others, especially eriksen, dont offer this.
of course if you give to one aspect you normally have to take from another, chadli eriksen and townsend together do present more of a goal threat but act as no barrier at all eg against a partnership like carrick and herrera. in other words, they dont offer poch his press.
i hope poch hasnt fallen out with moussa because i think hes a key man for us offering a bit of everything, and also hope people see more of the good in mason who does a lot of selfless and effective running for the team.

Embarrasing team selection. No moussa again and not even in the squad. Mason and bentaleb start after not delivering for how many games on the spin now ? Terrible from our manager !
