Ange has to stick to his principles. The Wolves game was our most defensive display of the season. We sat back too deep, and that had a lot to do with Davies, Dier, and PEH. Sarr was played out of position, and Biss had a terrible game. He just looks low on confidence for some reason. So, maybe being forced to sit one out will help.

Lolo can play 60 mins I reckon. And will dictate our forward tempo. Lo Celso has to come in and play in the Maddison role. Give him a run of games to get match sharp again. At the very least, he has more attacking intent.

Anyone that thinks Ange won’t start Hojbjerg against Villa are going to be disappointed

I think it totally comes down to if he trusts that Bentacur is ready to start yet as PEH has shown he really struggles to play in the system as a starter (i have no issues bringing him on later in the game against tired legs)

Id much rather Start bentacur and haul him off at half time if hes struggling, than PEH starting and getting gassed out and we have to bring him off anyway (or we dont take him off and he cant close down or track his runners anymore)
