I used to love watching this team over the last 5-6 seasons, but currently I've lost interest in the manner i did when AVB was in charge.
Agree 100%. That’s just how it will be until we get a new manager. (Not bashing Mourinho here)

We spawned a win v city but we were garbage Sunday too.

It’s worrying that we continue to put in such shocking performances. All over the place, what is our game plan exactly?

Dele is just as bad at losing possession mate. All three are garbage

You need someone up top or just off it who actually looks up occasionally and plays in supporting players is the point

Lucas and Son are like two retarded twin fireworks who just head off aimlessly in whatever direction they happen to be pointing.

Son and Lucas are so, so selfish. They are both guilty of that. It seems that they are looking for self glory rather than the common good of the team in general.

Really don't mind giving up possession and playing on the counter, atletico Madrid have played that way fine and Leicester won the league like it.

But we don't seem to be solid at the back or be able to counter effectively. Can't tell if this is the players being not up to scratch or the coaches not being able to get their instruction across properly.

Whatever the reason, we are a mess on the pitch atm.

It is tragic how quickly Vertonghen’s ability has fallen off of a cliff. There was no gradual decline, he’s gone from one of the best in the league to one of the worst.

Has lost at least a yard of pace, gets caught out constantly by attackers running off his shoulder and can’t even clear a ball without mishitting it constantly.

He’s been my favourite player for so many years but I support the club’s decision to not give him a longer contract with a pay rise.

Poor Jan. He’s another one who’s legs have turned to jelly. I don’t think he’s got another season in him. Sad.
If there's a contract offer on the table we should withdraw it. It's sad to see how badly he's lost it. I don't think it's attitude at all, I just think his legs have gone quicker than anyone thought.

Like Gary Neville when he just decided to retire mid-season, he was good in the summer before and then suddenly lost it completely. Sometimes that just happens.

121 more passes in that 1st half, that comes from being pressed back and not being able to get out to each other I'm sure.

Seems a bit like our new year day fixture

I only want to ship out Lamela because of his injury record. We can't have a player who plays as rarely as he does no matter how good they are.
But honestly lamela doesnt have that awareness as well. As a 10 hes a tier lower. Hes neither a top creator nor scorer. A good to have but will never be a true starter

Love to see Jose bench son and sub himself on up front. Just thick as fuck up top. Lucas just can’t beat a player one on one. Time and again just runs down a cul-de-sac. Unbelievably frustrating.

On the few occasions we attack there is no one in the penalty area. Moura or Son go on a run and they have no one to pass to so they have to go it alone and end up losing the ball. It's a typical Mourinho park the bus line up in my opinion. It's a replay we're at home he should have picked a more attacking side. When Southampton attack they have 4 or 5 in our area there is certainly more goals in it for them. I'll be interesting to see what Mourinho does at half time.
How? Who with? I'm pretty sure Lo Celso would have played as would Bergwijn but they weren't available neither was Lamela and Dele obviously isn't 100%. I'm disappointed like you but I think this is what we had to deal with unless anyone thinks Parrot could do a job I guess.
All we need is for our forwards to make the right decisions, what's the chances?
