The Problem with soaking up pressure and counter attacking is that our front line continuously fuck up counter attacks. Moura and Son (Alli when he plays) just make the wrong choice far too often.

Southampton more than double the number of passes. Once again I’ll say, isn’t Winks the one who you all say keeps the game ticking and always showing himself? I’m not blaming this all on him but if he’s as good as you all say he is he should be doing more than he is.

Winks had a good game against City but mainly because he kept it simple and didn’t attempt to play like Iniesta like he normally tries (and fails). Today he’s trying to run around with the ball and can’t keep control of it, plus having him and dog shite Dier in midfield is asking for trouble.

No coincidence that we’re slow, cumbersome, and nervous with Dier and Vertonghen in the team both of whom are painfully slow.

Our players seem to have taken a stupid pill today, none seem to be able to pass to a teammate or pick the right pass.
