Son coming off

Hopefully it's just to preserve energy for the upcoming games.

Best first half in a long while. Certainly since Leicester. Imagine Bale in place of Lucas (not a knock on him). That front three linking up is going to be dangerous.

How long before Carroll is on and the long balls start raining in on our goal?

The only time Newcastle pressed us, they won the ball, kept it for 2-3 minutes, applied some pressure and made a couple of decent chances.

The rest of the time, their hyper-defensive formation has made it impossible to apply any of the pressure that causes problems for our double pivot of Winks and Hojbjerg. That makes the challenge unpicking their defence, which we've done very well, leaving Darlow as the only reason the game isn't already decided. Well, Darlow and the woodwork.

It's the high quality movement and ball control from Kane, Lo Celso, Son and Lucas and the slight sluggishness of the Newcastle defence that has enabled us to break their rigid lines.

Hearing that Bergwijn is coming on for Son. Injury?

Bet that was pre-arranged much like the Ndombele/Lo Celso swap last week
