Ringo was always in for a rough time today. Think he’s done ok personally.
Na I don’t think he has, he’s given the ball away so many times which is making it really hard for us to retain any possession.

He needs to either get stronger or be incredibly quick oragile and technical like Bernardo Silva being the size and build he is.

Certainly isn’t imposing himself in the middle as much as Maddison usually does but then again this is a hard game to judge Lo Celso on.
Plenty of people happy to judge Gil on this game, but he's at least showing for the ball trying to make things happen even if he's struggling. Lo Celso just drifts around, no tackles, no dribbles, no shots, through balls... just very very quiet

Gil is the reason our attacks are breaking down. I’d bring on PEH for him at half time, move GLC to 10 and put BJ & Kulu on their wings.

Such a shame we haven’t used Johnson against Walker because we’ve had to play kulusevski centrally.

Lot of overreactions here. We are down to the barebones defensively. I still think we look dangerous on the break. Our final ball has been underwhelming. If we sort that out we may have got another goal. Just like their finishing has been underwhelming too.

What the hell were our scouts smoking when they signed the likes of Gil and emerson. Such a downgrade from the current squad its not funny

Considering we’ve been chasing shadows most of the game, having 3 forwards is pretty redundant. Whether it be boosting numbers at the back or in midfield, Gil needs replacing with Dorrington, Hojbjerg or Skipp.

Really nothing against Gil, and I’m not even digging him out, but he really is just a decent player who has ended up in the wrong league.

La Liga or similar he could have a good career, but I just can’t ever see him having the strength or presence required to make any success of himself in the premier league. Just too lightweight.

Looks like a very young youth player filling in.

He had a 5 yard heard start there and Walker both pace wise and physically dominated him.

Yes Walker does that to a lot of wingers but today really does seem Gil is a boy playing with men.
It was half a yard head start and Walker was always winning that like he does against everyone.

The Gil hate is ridiculous. He's been fine for a kid whose played so little

It was skill on the edge of our box that led to our goal.

Gil has shown exactly the same performances in each game he's played. It isn't just this one.

If we are going to pick on Bryan - lets at least acknowledge that he has done pretty well in holding the ball up, and maintaining possession when its on his side. He has struggled in the final third, and its a boy v. man against Walker, but he has done some nice things today

Gil reminds me of the Costa Rican player that used to play for Fulham. Name escapes me.
