The spursy bollocks headlines will be out in force over the next few days, let’s hope they don’t continue for a few weeks.
Let them wank themselves off with their Spursy bantz. Tottenham fans who know what Spursy actually is know full well this performance wasn't Spursy at all. The more opponents think this team is Spursy the more ill-prepared they'll be for facing this team.

Just sad now. Not what these players have deserved.

I think this is what they call a teachable moment for the couple not on the field.
Totally.

There are some players who put in unbelievable effort. Fair play to them. Worthy of applause despite the result.

There are some very unlucky players. Some major injuries that could badly hurt us. And some good players who got hooked earlier than they should have, because….

There were some brain dead decisions made by Romero and Udogie. Yes, the latter is young, but he could have got a red before he got himself sent off for a totally needless challenge when we were already down to 10. What was he doing?

And Romero? Same really. Fucking crazy.

There are positives to take from the game. But let’s not dress it up. That’s a car crash. If only for injuries we sustained.

Proud of the effort; but that could have last implications for our season

If ever game had "lessons to be learned", it was this one.

Some major positives
Some humungous negatives

The injuries to Maddison and especially Micky overshadow everything and we all have to pray it's not too serious but picking the bones out of that is hard work.

The players showed alot of character no doubt coupled with some real naivity but overall, they did us proud apart from Romero and to a lesser degree Udogie.

If we had kept our discipline, we’d have gotten a result. Such a shame for the honeymoon to end this way.

I agree with Hoddle too. Playing that high line with 9 men is dumb. Liverpool had 9 against us and we struggled to break them down and got an OG in added time. Chelsea were able to walk goals in here because we played at the halfway line with 2 men fewer and no pressure on the ball. Just dumb.

Nearly dropping 2 points against a team of 9 men playing a CB pairing of Dier and Hojbjerg. This is a piss-poor Chelsea team.
