Poch picking unnecessary defenders on the bench was a big gripe of mine, glad to see Mourinho change approach.

I was always annoyed that Poch never played Jan at LB again after the Dortmund game in which he was a phenomenon and put in the best LB performance by any Spurs player in recent years. Why ignore that?

I’m fine with Sissoko on the right as Aurier was still the creative one when MS came on against Olympiacos. We also looked a lot more solid when he came on during the week. With Dier being the shield we have both TN and MS providing strength, energy and pace in midfield. Our midfield allows both Aurier and Jan (who’s very good going forward) to push on.

I’m liking Vertonghen at left back and Ndombele in there alongside a defensive midfielder.

But Sissoko at right midfield is giving me slight nightmare lol...

I can only assume it’s to shore up that side whilst Aurier bombs forward.

Jan doesn't like playing out of position - it's one of the reasons he chose us over the Arse.

Shouldn't have knocked the old girl down. Especially after a season where we ran riot over everyone that came to town.

And then we’d have continued to struggle paying higher wages and pushing on.

The new stadium is integral to success, players coming to England looking at old Trafford then looking at the old white hart lane?

Gotta let it go, may take a while but this new stadium will feel like home and we’ll be all the better for it.

It'll also help with any future bids for England to host tournaments (do grounds get cash for their grounds being used?).

Well hopefully Jose can persuade him otherwise as he was a monster that night. At least in this new lop-sided fullback system he won't have to run quite so much.

Dont get me wrong I know it had to be done. Just a shame it came after our best season at home, probably ever.

I’m expecting to see GLC on for Sissoko, some time in the second half, if we are cruising with a comfortable lead.
