AFAIK Jediank does the defensive ones and Mason does the attacking ones. Maybe just switch up their responsibilities and try to hire a best in class to cover them both? I think you can do that without ruffling too many feathers tbh.
If only there was some kind of set piece specialist coach we could hire...

I get frustrations about luck etc but two set pieces and one long ball to concede three goals is a major red flag.

Said it before, we give up more chances than we create. Recipe for disaster.

If my wife treated me the way Spurs have over the years I would have divorced her years ago. Yet I keep coming back to this torture. The love of a football team is a strange kind of love.

General plays been okay. They’ve just done a number on us. Davies was shocking for the second. Gave him so much space on the outside yet still couldn’t stop him coming inside. Want to see the offside again to see if the shot was a deflection or a deliberate play on the ball.
You can’t say that at 3 nil down. Come on.

I put the snooker on to avoid listening to the half time post mortem and I’m tempted to ask my 5 year old to hide the remote control to spare me the 2nd half.

There is another angle where is clear no contact
maybe but Arsenal have had plenty of these given this season alone.

City the other night.

Etc etc

We haven't had a single call like that.

I'm not saying I want to see these given as pens but it does leave a sour taste when others get them and we don't.

Especially in pivotal moments of the game

I think any team in the football league could score against us if you gave them 5 corners.

No coach or any amount of players will never change this team. We’re annual losers. Same every season. A bit of hope usually extinguish by mid nov. Woeful supporting this constant shit.
Bridesmaid and Usher FC!
We better play like this against Citeh.

Imagine being this poor today against the woolwich wanderers and then beating Citeh
We ain’t beating City playing like this.

Well that wasn't fun. VAR no friend to us again. We have got to start getting shots off when we get the chance and we have got to sort out the corners problem everyone round me saw the same thing was going to happen second time as the first.
Kulusevski deserves respect he's been everywhere and the can't get the ball off him.

What I absolutely despise about Ange is how pretty much every other manager adjusts their approach based on the opposition whereas he’s vocal about having a style of play and point blank refusing to deviate from it.

Look at Liverpool recently - turned over by a woeful Everton side, held by a poor West Ham, held by Utd, beaten at home by Palace, smashed at home by Atalanta. These results were predominantly due to the opposition nullifying Liverpool’s strengths, defending and attacking as a team. I think we’ve found the true identity of Dr Tottenham - it’s Ange Postecoglou.

I can live with Davies not being able to perform a defensive transition. he is a squad player, certainly not good enough to play as a wide back in a game of this magnitude. something to address in the Summer. but to still display this ineptitude on defensive set pieces after so many lackluster repetitions is malpractice. and it's majorly structural, not personnel related. someone better put Ange on the spot for this.
In the summer i'd look for a profile as close to Van de Ven as possible for LB. Tall, physical, fast and can cover CB. Would provide a better balance with Porro on the other side.

i) Opponents have worked it out how to Stop us scoring.
Option A : Man mark every player to stop the build up phase
Option B : Give up the midfield, have 2 banks of 4 at edge of your box but leave 2 v 2 near half line.Take the pressure on, when the ball breaks to you, hit your 2 players up top to counter.
ii) Opponents have worked it out how to score in setpieces...

What is really concerning is, Ange has zero tactical answers till now.
