Bren's the better finisher though. Hell of a player to bring on.This is the role Werner should play

A bit of light relief to break the tension :
That's what I was thinking. Bringing him on at HT or just after, along with Richarlison - could be a wise move. Fresh legs rather than having them run out of puff before the end of the gameHaving the speed of Johnson to bring on could also be very effective if the later stages.
I think with 3 games this week - it will be about rotation - and with Richarlison just coming back, I can see him with 1 start and 2 bench appearances. Some big calls made in dropping Bissouma and Johnson for Hojbjerg and Deki - the latter in particular needs to make a positive impact here as I can’t say I particularly wanted to see Son down the middle and no physical presence of Richarlison.
True but our options on the left are thinner on the right. Also Kulu’s work rate is better than Johnson’s so I can understand why he went with it.This is the role Werner should play
Yeah Deki is certainly capable, need a big game from him. He does do well in big games to be fair.True but our options on the left are thinner on the right. Also Kulu’s work rate is better than Johnson’s so I can understand why he went with it.
So disappointing the way Bissoumas career with us is turning out.
Not getting in the starting line up of a NLD at the business end of the season for a player thats likely off in the summer...
I thought he'd be a nailed on success after moving from Brighton.
Kulu can hold up and retain the ball better then Johnson, whose speed will be crucial in the last third/quarter of the match.Yeah Deki is certainly capable, need a big game from him. He does do well in big games to be fair.
Bissouma's only bright spot for us was a purple patch to start the season, which ended with his 1st half red card against Luton. Sure he didn't play much last year but I think by now we have all seen why Conte never played him. Hojbjerg is truly just a better player & it is about 2-3 months too late for Bissouma to have finally been dropped for him. The only change to the XI I'd have made are Sarr & Richy for Bentancur & Werner.Wouldn't go that far.
He's just clearly out of form and needs some time on the bench.
Doubt we sell him in the summer as everyone knows what he's capable of.
Sarr should start no doubt, our best midfield and very well suited to this game
He started the season great. He is not the only player who's form suffered after afcon and don't forget he got malaria. So disappointing the way Bissoumas career with us is turning out.
