I think the rule includes U21 players that have played at least a few first team games. Pretty sure they mainly played the kids throughout the Carabao and FA Cup. Might backfire on them in terms of a potential postponement.

I have no doubt ESR and Tomiyasu would make Sunday if its on but they'll be included on their injury list for this I'm sure.

Unless people are slyly hoping its off because we are a bit shite at the minute?!
I think we're talking about 2 different things but it would be stupid to think like how you just suggested, absolutely stupid. They have Partey, Elneny and Xhaka missing in midfield, along with various injuries and have just played 70 or so minutes chasing Liverpool around Anfield on a thursday night. We will not have many better opportunities to get 3 points.

Logically I'd agree, as they've established they're ready. Would like to see that written down though if someone can find it.

I make it 13 outfield players available and the Xhaka suspension is self inflicted - surely they can’t get sympathy for him missing out.

I’m also sure I read that where teams play younger squad players in cup matches that works against them as they are then deemed to be first team squad members. That Patino and Hutchison would therefore increase the numbers.

Conte has only won 1 in 8 against the scum. Add to that their current form their kids would probably still turn us over

If they had got thumped tonight, then after the forest performance, they’d have been on a real low with a big injury crisis. Instead they put in a gutsy performance so their tails may well be up and confidence high.

We on the other hand are at a low point and even our normally exuberant manager seems to be a xanax.

Maybe a postponement might not be such a bad idea if we can play them when we have Dier, Sonny and Romero back. We may even have TRaore playing if we can scrape some pennies together and persuade Wolves to do a lIan deal

Wouldnt shed a tear if arse get them game called off.
Gives son , Romero and dier a chance back and hopefully at least one new player
We'd get destroyed with tanganga in defense regardless of all their missing players , or worse yet Doherty at lb

Certainly feels like they have more momentum than us so a postponement wouldn't be terrible, it would definitely benefit them more however.

Arteta just then sounded like he intended on playing the game, although did mention at the end that they had fresh injuries.

Just play the fucking game you fucking pansies. If they had a full ward of Covid patients then fair enough, but I'm so fucking sick of teams picking off players so they can get below the magic number of 12 just because it suits them.

If we lose, we lose. Just. Play. The. Fucking. Match.

I think they are a bad match for us currently, they can perfectly play that formation Chelsea embarrassed us with last week. With Son out we also have much less counter attacking threat and a with Dier a doubt our defence looks ropey.

That said with their missing players and after running themselves into the ground tonight it would favour us big time for the game to go ahead so I hope we play it.

I just know it won't be easy if it does go ahead.
