What's this talk about Nagelsmann not winning anything? 5 min ago he was passing notes to his crush in science class.

How about asking how many managers have achieved more at the age of 33.

In the context of why would Sabitzer "leave Nagelsmann for Mourinho", which framed the discussion, him being only 33 and not win anything yet is a very valid point.

Sabitzer reminds me more of Gylfi than anyone else. I reckon he’d have similar issues here too.
Too attack minded to play CM, not Consistently threatening enough to play higher up.

Sabitzer looks a lot more mobile than Gylfi for me, that makes a big difference. Gylfi has wonderful technique but I always felt he lacked the athleticism to really make the most of it.

I can’t say I’ve seen much of him, but one thing we’ve lacked for years is goals from midfield.

Agree mate.

There's also a huge difference in tenacity between the two players.

They're not really alike at all, strange comparison.

I wasn’t greatly impressed with him last night. Did a few nice shots however when they were lacking creativity he either tried an impossible ball or passed it 5 yards sideways to someone else. I thought Forsberg looked the brighter prospect

Fair enough, I’m not an expert on him. I understand everyone is excited by a potential signing. He has just come across like Gylfi the times I have seen him play.
It only takes a few of those blind passes round the corner going astray before everyone will be riding him out of the club wanting a more composed player.
Happy to be wrong, obviously.

Sabitzer is more mobile and more pacey thn gylfi
I always thought consistency was the main issue with Gylfi when he was here. World beater one week, anonymous the next.
His pace and mobility were not really the issue, imo.

Hard to judge any of the RBL players last night, they weren’t at it.

Sabitzer was hugely impressive against us though.

Sabitzer isn’t a tackler but his work rate and effort out of possession, including to ensure he protects his defence, is superb usually (seemingly this faltered v PSG).
What you’ve described makes me thing you’re speaking about a totally different player.

He's not an aggressive player neither, another one who needs the pace of the game to be his level to dictate.

Being aggressive has absolutely nothing to do with a players ability to adapt to and influence the pace of a match, or protect a defence. This guy is no less aggressive off the ball than Modric, and much more than Carrick or Barry who were career defensive midfielders.

That’s funny, the way you’ve described him there was not far off what was said before we signed Gylfi...
