I would love for us to get Sabitzer I just think that we unfortunately missed our window. He has had an incredible season for RB Leipzig this year as well them already selling Timo for a lot and someone else brought up the French CB that will most likely go for bonkers money as well. I just don't see them selling another key part of their squad unless the fee was massive which I don't see us doing in this climate unless we sold TN and unfortunately it sounds like he would be part of player swap (like Arthur and Pjanic) if he was to be moved on. Anywho I hope i'm proved wrong because I would absolutely love to have him in our squad and I think he would be great in next to Lo Celso right in front of PH.

Because we’re not an energy drink football club that started 10 years ago? Congrats to Leipzig on a wonderful UCL run to the semis, for those with short memories we made the final of that competition last year.

We do have the financial muscle we just pretend we don’t. We can pay more in salary than Leipzig I’m pretty sure and I think we’re still seen as a fairly big club in Europe.

He's used as a mouthpiece for Southampton, hence the Everton stuff and that offer has been mentioned by the player's agent I believe (although the context was that he turned down higher offers to play from Spurs, Everton and Monaco were two of the clubs).
Maybe he dug out the link from March/April and took a punt that it's still ongoing, maybe he actually heard something. Maybe we lined this one up back when we played them and covid took it off the table.
We rightly hold Ali Gold and Dan KP in high regard but they've also been fed some inaccurate info from the club in the past.
