Goughie you may revel when we are on the up, but a Spur's supporter who says he "can't find a reason to complain' sets off too many alarm bells, sorry.... Don't be a two faced hypocrite now.

Have, or have you not said the below remarks word for word, this season:
"
Can someone explain how this shit group of players managed to get 69 points (3 less than our record amount) and finish 6th last season and inside 11 games drop to this level? We spent £100 million and were playing a team that included the likes of Walters, Sidwell and N'Zonzi. Stoke also lost 2 players to injury in the first 30 minutes.

I just don't understand how we go from 6th in May to where we are now in 11 games..... (I thought you were expecting us to be mid table??)

Poch to Adebayor - "stroll around for 90 minutes, don't run fella cos you have the malaria and that upset tummy won't get better if you over exert yourself. And none of that shooting at goal business, I won't stand for it. Take it nice and slow and you'll be firing on all cylinders come the ANC.

You know times are bad when Steve Sidwell and Mark Walters are running rings around us, dear oh dear...(I thought you never find a reason to complain?)

Rose has been an accident waiting to happen all night

Nice back heel from Ade, so that's what you get for £100k a week

Is Rose going to have one of those games

no one's mentioned Rose yet. I'm surprised Davies hasn't got a game tonight. Rose makes too many mistakes. He cost us a penalty at Liverpool and flicked on a great header on Sunday for Chelsea's opening goal.

Stop making excuses for them. Tired because they have to fly for 2 hours to Italy first class. Fuck sake, no wonder the game has gone to shit when there's fans like you that actually think this.

These players got 69 points and finished 6th last season. At the moment they look like finishing 6th bottom. So what's the reason then? The only difference is the manager

Sorry I didn't spot that Walker, Kane and Townsend start this game. I thought they just came on...

(Europa League) This is one tournament I'm glad we're out of.

SCer quote: Townsend's touch is awful. Hold the ball up there. Dont give it away and start them on the counter. Ugh.

your reply: So is Chadli's

scer quote: This competition suddenly becomes very winnable if Chelsea and City go
your reply: not by us

Imagine paying £50 to sit and watch it for 90 minutes.
"

Well need I go any further?

This kind of makes all your positive rep points all the more silly now. Do people respect you for remaining calm and placid whilst others go around ravaging the forum with unnecessary complaints hither tither???

God help me!

To complain, by the way; is to "express dissatisfaction or annoyance about a state of affairs".

You need to get out more.

I complain when we play poorly and lose. But others still complain when we win and are sitting a point off fourth. That was the point.

I also said today something along the lines of when will we win a game comfortably. I guess you could have included that as a complaint too and it's more recent that much of what you've looked up!

Can't really say i agree with this. He came on retained possession most of the time and got a few free kicks (also i may add coming on as a sub in a gritty away game is hardly the easiest thing). In the first half we didn't retain possession in the final third at all and Chadli was non existent. I think the team looks way more balance with Dembele in front of our two young CM's adding strength and hold up play. With Eriksen from the left. But everyone see's football differently.

Totally agree we need dembele starting, but I think ahead of Townsend. Watching the game I thought he was poor, again

Report: Tottenham 'launch £7m bid' to sign Riyad Mahrez this summer

Tottenham are reportedly lining up a £7m move to sign Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are 'ready to launch' a £7m bid to sign Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez during this summer's transfer window.

Mahrez, 24, only joined the Foxes just over a year ago, but has made a big impression at the King Power Stadium - particularly in the Premier League.

The left-footed winger has sparkled this term, impressing many with his speed and trickery when cutting in from the right-hand side.

Mahrez has contributed two goals and three assists for Nigel Pearson's men this season, and will be relied upon heavily as Leicester bid for Premier League survival.

Yet according to today's edition of The Sun, Mahrez is ready to leave the club should they be relegated - and Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly been impressed with his performances this season.

Spurs have seen inconsistent displays from their wingers this season, with Nacer Chadli, Andros Townsend and Erik Lamela all blowing hot and cold.

Mahrez would provide some direct running and a willingness to shoot from range - while he's also familiar with one particular member of the Spurs squad.

Mahrez has played alongside midfielder Nabil Bentaleb for Algeria both at last summer's World Cup and in January's Africa Cup of Nations, with Bentaleb playing a starring role under Pochettino this season.

Bentaleb would surely be glad to see Mahrez join him at White Hart Lane, and The Sun believe a £7m bid is in the pipeline to bring Mahrez to North London at the end of the season.

Would Mahrez be a good signing for Tottenham?

Yes it is, you suggested it was bad for sandro if sherwood had been hired by QPR as if sherwood had some sort of a grudge against him
Did I?

Here was me thinking (as someone that loves Sandro and dislikes Sherwood) that with all of his injuries the possible hiring of Sherwood would have been upsetting to him... Am I wrong?

Oh and for the record Wenger said him going off against the goons last week changed the game, as they couldn't play against him... High praise indeed especially when he's been out so long.

A fully fit Sandro gets in most premiership teams... The problem is getting him fully fit.

Will always be a player and person I have a lot of man love for though.

What else were you suggesting then?
Possibly how can you know what sandro is thinking?
Sandro seems a great guy and a few years ago was a great player but injuries have taken their toll and I serious doubt he will be that good again, it was the right decision for sherwood to leave him on the sidelines last year and for poch to sell him in the summer IMO

I was suggesting what I just said o_O (before the am I wrong bit)

You think i'm taking a leap of faith in saying Sandro would not have been looking forward to Sherwood joining QPR... Really?
Did you not see the "looking forward to summer when we get a proper manager" type quotes from him

Actually, I'd personally say Kane, Lloris, Eriksen, Bentaleb and 7 others if you really want to get pernickety(sp?)...

Actually, those four plus Vertonghen, if we could get him back to his best, plus a few others who still have a lot of possibility to improve - e.g. Walker, Mason, maybe Townsend.

And if we could get Dembele playing to his best consistently, he would be a great player - but will that ever happen?

Your original post was lying the blame of sandro demise at sherwood which is blatantly untrue in my book.
Would a current sandro be a 1 st choice in our 11 ATM?

Stop moaning guys. We took six points this week after the disappointment of the cup final and playing so many games in a short amount of time. Was never going to be easy.

Exactly... We have just played @ 6 him games in 15 days? Or something close to that? A result is all that matters.., we now have a full week to prepare for each game for the rest of the season with no other distraction....

I'd mention Rose as well.

I was really chuffed because we secured a vital 3 points away from home despite the lads being out on their feet and the coaches having no time to prepare for the last few fixtures.

Reading the last few pages of this thread............?
