That's so.

We gained 17 points from the first 12 matches (1.42 points/game), 7 points from the next 4 matches (1.75 points/game) and 26 points from the last 12 matches (2.17 points/game).

2.17 points/game sustained over 28 games corresponds to 60.67 points, which would put us in 2nd place.

What's striking is that we were 7th after 16 matches and we're 6th after 28 matches, so it's not as if our improved form has rocketed us up the table.

Looks promising for next year if we can keep the main part of the 1st team and just add some quality...

The best thing about playing manure these days is you are guaranteed to get space all over the park as LVG sets them up to use the whole pitch (not compact).

Suits us to a tee.
It was amazing how good we looked after QPR went at us today. More composure and we could have scored a couple more. Eriksen especially wasted opportunities. I fancy us against United.

Anyone noticed our points have risen when we got a proper striker? Been a while...

Love you Harry!

Also love you nabil.

And you Ryan...

Well, the other sides have kept par. We keep this up in the run in, and it corresponds to 20 points. We need to get 2-3 points better to get top 4, IMO.

I would like to hit him with a stick. He slows down every single attacking move. He always stops and pirouettes, passes sideways or backwards. He loses possession. He doesn't shoot. He doesn't score.

I rather see him as a boss on midfield if he came as subs when we're on 2-0 or 2-1 who can controls and drags opponent midfield players to leave their own posts, imo

And that's naturally due to Man Utd change of style to a more pragmatic approach, and Arsenal's and Liverpool's surge in form.
However, as you point of, ppg over the last rounds if maintained from the start would put us only behind Chelsea.

We now have 8 days before the next game against manure.

Such a boost. United will get a couple days less with their F.A. Cup match against Arsenal Monday. I'm hoping for a red card or two and another lackluster performance by United that results in a win; that way they might bring less of a focused mindset to "correct their issues."

Plus the fact that the 'spitter' Evans could be out, white van man is out looking good.

If we want CL we want to win this one. We can do it.

Agreed and with Arsenal vs West Ham, Swansea vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Southampton being played that weekend, another win at Old Trafford could see us gain points over the teams around us. We should go for it imo, we should be sensible but we should go for the win.
