So most games then. It's frightening to see how bang average he's been for a good 12 months now if not more.
No competition will do that to you.
Who's fault is it he's had no competition though? I mean he's never even prioritised a striker from what I remember.

The only miracle in the CL is we got lucky.
In the final Liverpool were probably the worse that they had been
But we were even worse
Lucky to get through
Our season we played pretty mediocre eeked out results.
This season we are not getting the luck that we had last season

How was Pochs miracles this season?
So your saying we were lucky to get to a CL final? Was Liverpool lucky beating Barcelona? Give the man some credit he had a lot to deal with last season.

The next transfer windows if Pochettino last that long will determine his fate who we can get in new blood and shift certain players out. There was a clip of Sheffield United equalising goal not one of our players pressed the ball they looked totally unfit /knackered now tbh that’s worrying. In a way you can understand him rotation .

But remember Trix, there's literally no decent striker on Earth who would be prepared to compete with, and learn from, Harry Kane. Literally no one.

I find it funny you think it's a fitness issue. They don't look knackered when on internation duty.

He's a number 9 is he that would compete for Kanes position?

I'll add to that Dybala was an opportunistic move. A good player we thought might be available who wanted to come, not someone who had been specifically targeted.

I'm not complaining about getting to the final but we must have a difference if opinion in our quality of footie last season.
To me we had a few good games of quality football even against the minnows, many or even most to me were mediocre. But go ahead and pick your excuse,Poch does.
This season we are worse.

So are we saying Pochettino is deliberately not asking for a striker. I heard he wanted Llorente to stay but we wouldn’t pay the wages ( I’m not claiming to be ITK just heard)

From my original post we seem to be saying very similar things.
The big problem is that the team over achieved for almost 4 years. Was he instrumental in that, undeniably, but we still didn’t win anything. And his team selection in the CL final - and in many games this year - have been a major telling point for me that maybe he just isn’t that good after all - especially when the going gets tough.
The CL final. It was freakish giving away that soft penalty so early in the game, do you blame Pochettino? The line up. He played Kane instead of Moura. I understand Moura scored the hatrick to get us there and probably deserved to play, many people at the time was saying we’re a better team without Kane. Personally I can’t blame Pochettino for playing Kane ( one of our own) the journey Pochettinos had we Kane up to now is a fairytale story. Moura had 30 mins however in the final. Liverpool had the experience from being losing finalist to Real Madrid.

Liverpool fumbled through the game and we were worse.
We lacked belief so blame it on the collective and wins on the manager.
Wembley,Refs,Injuries, luck, not buying players, not selling players...and yet we couldn't beat Colchester.

We lost on penalties. It’s football wasn’t nice nobody can defend that , the player though must be questioned above the manager especially in that game.

Yes if it was one player the player should be questioned but if it's all the players the manager should be questioned

I realize Poch did a great job initially. Average players he brought toughness and a good system to them.
He always lacked a plan B. I thought the biggest lack was our creativity when the counter wasn't on.
Buying 4 quasi attackers now was good but Poch has been weak melding these players together.
He is using a big dose of Trial and Error. We are now more hesitant especially on defence with the ball etc. The soul of the team looks lost.Harry looks unhappy. Poch always looks tense. It compounds the problem.Poch looks like he has no answers. I think he had a plan originally and has not developed too much since.
Has he been weak with Levy was one of my questions. Its possible.

So PeeLee, Finchyid, UbeAstard, Nebby, Jolmaster, hutchiniho, bloodzeed, Gassin's finest and tiger666,

I seriously have to question if you've watched any of our premier league games over the last few weeks. If you think Kane and Dele deserve their spot in the team right now, then either you have not watched the games or have no clue about what you're watching.

Please tell me what Kane has contributed over the last 2 games other than that goal against Everton. He no longer takes shots from outside the penalty area, is not an outlet for a long pass, does not hold up the ball particularly well any more, and jogs around for long periods of the game without doing anything.

Dele clearly should not be an automatic starter, and this last game clearly shows that. Please tell me what he contributed in that game other than flicks and tricks that did not pan out. I acknowledge that he needs more game time, but he needs 20-30 minutes max until he builds his fitness and confidence, not 70+ minutes of doing nothing.

If you think I'm wrong, go ahead and give me examples, don't just "rate" the post without contributing anything useful, but for the record I don't expect you to be able to provide anything useful though on this topic.

I'm perfectly entitled to "rate" your posts how I like and don't have to explain myself to anyone thanks. Get over yourself.

Read my posts of late. I am in no doubt who's at fault here. But the fact that Kane gets the easiest of rides really irritates me. Is he not part of this team just as the rest?
