He may do very well in Italy which is a slower paced football environment for him. Was never suited to English football.

He didn't impress Lyon enough to want him back will Napoli be any different , suspect we will be looking for another loan next season. Only 3 years to the end of his contract , time will soon pass.

Italian football is also very tactical with extreme attention to detail. Nothing suggests Ndombele will dedicate himself train enough to do what is required.

I think he just wants to go with the flow and use his naturally ability. The MLS is the best place for him.

If he gets to be their playmaker with no requirement or expectation to contribute to defending then he will be a massive success there and they will have got themselves a £50m player for 13m euros.

Doubt they make top 4 without Koulibaly,Ruiz,Insigne, Mertens even if they get Raspadori and Simeone, but still good news for us.

So we reach the Champions League final in 2023 and are playing Napoli , as Napoli are mid table the only chance they have of qualifying for CL is to win the final which would force them to buy Ndombele.
Hmmmm.

Sorry, it depends on the value of the buy option. Your scenario is simply talking of a low buy option fee comparative to the market at time of buying.
Still. If the buy option is deemed too high by the buying club, they simply won't trigger it. Much like Lyon with Ndombele this spring.

So you wanted the club to overrule Poch, but I was wrong to think you meant this was referring to Levy?
I didn’t want anything. I have no agenda/opinion

I merely stated that the club would have known about Tanguys career prior to signing . What’s so difficult to understand.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Another season on/another year less on his contract though will have reduced his value by the time that the option kicks in.

According to reports this morning, if they finish in the CL places they have to buy him. So fingers crossed they have a good season because if they do, then he won’t be coming back!
