I knew this would attract ire. I feel we’re soon to start circling an Eriksen style drain with him, his value isn’t getting any higher, his performances are at their peak (actually I’d say declining) and he’s hugely inconsistent.

I hope he makes a fool of me with his performances to come, but I think with what we’d get for him we could make several improvements to the squad that would leave us in a better position.

I didn’t mean I’d be happy to see him go with grealish the replacement, I meant I’d be happy to see him or Dele sacrificed to release funds for the squad.

If son leaves, we will need another top goalscorer who can score out of nothing, who can cut in and can use his both right and left foot, who can run with the ball and shoot outside the box. Grealish is certainly not that player. Playes who are similar to son are werner, pulisic, martial, sterling, mane ... They are not coming to spurs ...

Disagree about Son but I’d be happy to sacrifice Dele.

Fucking hell what a mess. Levy has to be fuming.
It is peak Spurs to finally spend an enormous sum on one of the most talented midfielders in the world, something we've been missing since Modric and then Dembele left, only to find out there are undisclosed issues resulting in him barely playing for us. I mean for fuck's sake.

Couldn't agree more.

And there is such horrible precedent for this to even be remotely justified from Mourinho. De Bruyne, Salah, Lukaku, Pogba, Martial. All of those clubs should have told Mourinho to fucking deal with it and quit being an asshole.

I wouldn't mind so much if we had a cohesive aligned approach from the coach all the way to Levy, but there's no structure and no direction to our overall strategy. This is why I have zero faith we'll spend that money adequately to replace him.

It will be Matic on the cheap and Ryan Bertrand,

Unless both GLC and Winks get injured, don't think we'll see Tanguy start this season. He'll most likely come off the bench when we're down 3-0 against Arsenal because Jose is petty like that.

We're utter shite and he still can't get a start.

Honestly, what was the harm in chucking him in against one of the worst teams in the league, and giving Sissoko a rest before the NLD?

Feels more and more like stubborn point-making from Jose rather than any desire to get the best out of the player. Gutting.

Why do you keep using some of those names in your example to complain (which is pretty much all you do) when people have explained a number away and Lukaku actually had a decent time under him at Untied?

It's so weird to keep bashing the manager in charge when the player in question has just as many question marks.

Well he definitely isn't playing against arsenal either

Hopefully he gets his move in the next window. One spurs will regret when Jose isn't even at the club anymore

Unfortunately think this is it for Tanguy, not blaming Jose think Tanguy blew it with his performances previously.

Wish he had knuckled down and forced his way into the team. Can't help but think the constant fuss in the French media has done him no favours. I can't help but feel if he had given 100 percent to the cause of getting back in the team without the rumblings in the media he has the ability to do it. Seems the ship has sailed though.
