Club should have Son talking to Tanguy about how he struggled in his first season and how he wanted out... and how happy he is now to have stayed.

If the rumors are true about Ndombele’s wages, I’m shocked his agent is trying to rush him out the door.. he won’t be making that at his next club.

Why Son? Jose should be enough

Inter Milan is accelerating on the Tanguy Ndombélé file. The Italian club are close to reaching an agreement with Tottenham on the transfer amount. It remains to convince the player. Also in contact with two other European teams, he has not yet made any decision.

it’s perfectly understandable that players from abroad take time to settle with the game, language, lifestyle etc but not putting in 100% effort is simply unacceptable.

If Ndombele keeps this up he’ll turn into Taarabt MK2, all the talent in the world but a massive lazy bastard who will waste his prime playing years.
I love Ndombele and his obvious potential and therefore wants him to stay and succeed, but I will concur and say you are correct.

Looks like bull but if true then regardless of his talent, there are worse things than selling a player who never plays for an amount which allows deficient first team positions to be strengthened.

If we just broke even on the N’Dombele transfer, those funds at worst would cover Hojbjerg and Castagne/ Aarons. This is before we consider any potential income from one of KWP/ Aurier, Rose and maybe even Lamela and Sissoko which could be used elsewhere.

Bit fed up of it now, just get the best deal and let him go, find it hard to believe he wants to stay
There’s nothing really positive to say about his first season with us and if, according to a variety of reports, he’s cultivated a disruptive entourage around him then it speaks volumes about his personal qualities. Compare him to Lo Celso, who also had to overcome injury and managerial change earlier this season- there’s a gulf of difference in how they’ve gone about their business

Even if we do want to sell him I doubt very much the club would be confirming we are in active negotiations. If we get offered what we paid I would guess Jose would be willing to sell as it would provide much needed funds for him to bring in some of his own targets. We complained about Poch not being backed with incomings that he wanted and regardless of individual fan opinions on player ability, effort etc, we need to back our manager now with the incomings that he wants and the players he wants sold.

My personal opinion on TND is that he is a very talented player and I'm more than happy for him to stay and prove he has the work ethic and ability to turn it around, but the club is bigger than one player and if we want to progress and challenge, then we back the manager regardless. Signs over the last few weeks in the media that Jose didn't have any issue with TND and backed up his ability. So the reason for these rumours is that TND just wants to leave us. It will all come down to Levy if he is insistent on making him a success and saving face for splashing such a big fee.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out but previous examples (Eriksen, Toby, Rose) will highlight the need for this to be sorted out one way or another before the season begins. We have seen first hand what effect an unhappy player can have on the dressing room and team performances.

It does feel like if he really wanted to stay and fight for his place in the team and to continue working under Mourinho he'd have come out and said something by now - there's been so much speculation that I can't see he wouldn't have noticed it.

Shame. He's clearly a real talent. But I can't see this one working out the way it was supposed to.

He did that in April when the stories first started appearing

We had a whole bunch of folk tracking his insta. last summer - has he been anywhere nice recently?

(this is said in jest, but there were a whole host of folk stalking him on here)

Please sell him. His heart isn’t in it at all. He just won’t ever fit in and is playing under the wrong manager to ever help him fit in. We’ll just have another Lamela on our books, always injured, but without the fight and good attitude Lamela shows.

Money back and invest in Coutinho loan, a DM, CB and RB.

Ndombele's fee probably wouldn't even cover the first two.
