Grow up? Lol.

What for pointing out the complete over reaction in here... I don't think so.

What’s the overreaction? There’s nothing wrong with calling it like it is.

He’s a fucking great player as we all saw last year, but currently our record signing is an embarrassment who would lose against me in the bleep Test. The situation “is disgraceful”.

Tbf, if it’s true and he’s not applying himself it is a fucking disgrace. I don’t think he’s not applying himself personally but he’s not exactly pulling up trees. When you see young players from new leagues having slow starts you can usually see that part of the problem is they’re trying to hard (Lamela nd more recently Lo Celso are examples of this imo) Ndombele definitely doesn’t look like he’s trying to hard.

I’m still putting it down to just general acclimatising, though. He’s already looked a world beater on more than 1 occasion. He gets this season but if he’s struggling to finish games or is woefully inconsistent this time next year I’ll start getting pissed off. Thing is, Jose ain’t going to take that shit and he’ll be on the bench if he doesn’t apply himself properly.

Imagine how we would be if it was them lot down the road though...

He does need to get himself up to speec and it has been frustrating given the quality we've seen here and there, just think there's other reasons possibly in play here.

Everyone been on the sherry in this thread, some of the extremes in here have been quite funny to be honest.

Pepe cost quite a bit more and has been rightfully labeled an absolute donkey and useless showboater. I can't even remember the last time i heard an opposition fan even mention Ndombele who has been injured twice(?) but has still managed to rack up goals and assists as well as looking class at times - providing through balls and forward passes no one else on our team is capable of. His fitness is rightfully worrisome but let's see what Jose can do with him.

And I don’t disagree with that. Very sure this will be a storm in a teacup just incredibly disappointed in our record signing so far, physically more than anything else.

Having him sit on the anchor role is not a bad idea. Especially if he's not currently able to do the box to box running

Was over at a conference last week, and got into conversation with one of our French salesmen who is a Lyon season ticket holder.
Said Ndombele was a very hot and cold player, a couple of his Champions League performances were certainly his best games for the club, and doubts his fitness levels will ever be what is required for Premier League. He struggled to keep up with pace quite regularly in much slower French League.

He seems to think Moussa Dembele is the best player that has played for Lyon over last 5 seasons.
