I watched bobby soldier for years tearing it up in la liga and thought we’d signed a genuine superstar.

Was gutted it never really worked out but the sky’s the limit for tn.

When all the players to a man say NDombele is the best player at the club then let’s start comparing him with Moose. Right now he’s got a very nice show reel from a weaker league backed up by a fantastic performance against Man City in the CL. We are all hoping he is the Nutz, and he probably will be, but let’s not disrespect Dembele!

I think it’s really exciting to finally have a deeper midfielder who can not only break the lines, but can find a pass forward too. The last one was Modric, and he was a little magician of a footballer. Some of the passes for attacking players he made, were just on a plate, be it slide passes, little chips, or spotting the diagonal run. Amazing midfielder. I’m not saying TN is like that, but I think he’s a bit of Dembele and Modric, not at their peak levels yet, but he has time and the coach and team to do that. Modric also had Bale, Lennon and VdV making exceptional runs for him. If we keep Eriksen, add either Lo Celso or Ceballos, then we should all be very excited as to what our team can achieve.

As good as he may be.....and I'm hoping that's VERY good.... If Eriksen leaves and that seems an almost certainty as he isn't going to sign a new deal and with only a year left on his current one the club will not let him leave on a freebie next year. It will just be one step forward and one back. So we've just got to hope that there are at least 2 more top names to arrive.
It's mouth watering to think of the two of them playing together.

I had come to Canada by that time but for me it couldn't have been bigger than us winning the Double which was mega then that summer buying Greaves which was out of this world.

Don't get me wrong greaves was world class. Best goal scorer this country has ever seen. Just thoughttwo foreign world cup winners coming to the country would have been unique.
