De Ligt (sp) In Pool defence has said that he knew Kane was injured . Everyone knew Kane wasn't fit for CL final except Poch...well he knew but was frightened of Kane's reaction to not being played in such a big match . For me pure player power triumphing over club imperatives . Mega disappointing from both men involved .

Everyone is captain hindsight after the match when in fact if Kane had started on the bench and we had still lost fans would have been saying “why not play the best no.9 in the world in our most important match in recent history?”

Poch made the right call imo. Moura is a better impact player than starter whatever the occasion.

The Brazilian Theo Walcott was a pretty fair assumption I think.. We need a big upgrade in the RW department.

I’ll quote myself as I got a many negative ratings AFTER he scored vs. Wolves (funny isn’t)

I’ll stand by it. Moments of brilliance but that’s all it’s ever gonna be for Lucas.

We need a new RW who’s on the level of Son/Mane/Salah/Sterling or have the potential to be - and go 433 like everyone else and start winning stuff.

We’re never gonna go 433 while Alli is in the team

I know it’s sad. But we can only dream Mourinhos obsession with Alli soon comes to an end. Or develop him to the modern 8 we all thought when we bought him.
We might see Alli as more of that player when we have a settled midfield that isn’t scared to have the ball.

I don’t think he’s a winger I actually don’t think he’s a striker either he’s a false 9 Or maybe just a luxury player that when the team is at 100% you can afford to have but when they aren’t there’s just no need for him.

I would put money on him scoring a hat trick vs boro then starting vs Liverpool and having a shocker

Nostalgia and history will do him a lot of good, people will say he was a fantastic close to world class players in 10 years but in reality he’s a average player

Dreadful player if he’s not scoring. Same goes for Alli.

It’s no wonder we can’t keep the ball for the life of us. They both lose possession constantly and wouldn’t know a passing triangle if it hit them in the face.

But he should’ve started the CL final ?

He needs to be played on the right!! He is playing out of position on the left, no wonder he performed poorly.

He's just not a good player. Anything good he has done has been reactive in the moment play. But aside from the odd moment his all round game is just bad. Touch, passing, shooting, decisions, awareness just not good enough i'm afraid.

When the best thing you can say about an attacker is he's a good tackler and can win headers against taller men that's not a good sign.

So many of our players have 50/50 touch (or worse) and it kills so many moves.

Score the occasional good goal, but if he doesn't he offers little else & shouldn't be in our team.

He's an absolutely awful player in possession. His build up play is non existent. A horrible touch, no awareness, a real heads down player. When you put him, Son and Alli in our attack, our ball retention is absolutely awful. They all lose the ball so easily. You do have to question our recruitment policy. I'm convinced we sign opportunistically rather than having a coherent plan and recruitment strategy.

Moura is nowhere near the level required to be first 11. Neither is Alli.

Don't mind him as an impact sub but I don't see a consistent level of performance from him when he starts regularly. With that in mind, would really be tempted to move him on and take a punt on someone like Hwang at RB Salzburg. Wolves rumoured to be in for him for £23m

This top paragraph is spot on, although I completely agree with your other point ?
