YupShout out for Reza - must have a connection with either players or team staff
I was there myself and, in the main, I don’t approve and have never booed any player or the team collectively. However, and this might be nonsense, I wonder whether this resonated with Conte hence the much improved second-half performance and a more animated Antonio? What I do know was the high level of frustration and annoyance at the rank performance in the first half which was simply a continuation of the dreadful rubbish served up during Nuno’s reign and much of Jose’s tenure, and let’s be frank, the last part of Poch’s time. That’s a fairly long sequence of having to watch turgid crap from the same set of players and I do get why some felt the need to audibly demonstrate their feelings at half-time. People are spending lots of money to watch thisYup, and this wasn’t some light grumbling, this was as loud as at the end of the Man United match. Disgraceful.

If you paid £60+ to watch live yesterday, you had every right to boo that first half performance. It was simply not good enough. I know the players don't set the ticket prices, but they are the ones who can dictate what is being dished up and if its shite, the fans will quickly tell you its shite. Our crowd were total shit yesterday. When they broke out into ‘Oh when the Spurs’ all I could think was ‘get fucked, you mugs were booing the team off at halftimes’. Really horrible people our fans these days, worst in the country.
I did pay to be there live. I also drove from arse end of nowhere for the pleasure, not getting home till very late, as I do for every home match. If you paid £60+ to watch live yesterday, you had every right to boo that first half performance. Yes it was over 4 hours without a shot on target.Over 4 hours without a shot on target will do that to a fanbase. If you were happy with the first half performance then fine. I didn't boo, but was ok with people doing so in this instance. Conte even said he agreed with the booing and I suspect he used it as motivation at half time.
There is bitching and moaning in every player, manager and match thread that the players are coasting, not giving 100% and not playing for the shirt on here and has been for 2 years. It's no surprise in real life it is the same.
Most of our fans were priveldeged to enjoy 3-4 seasons under Pochettino, where he massively raised expectations. The clubs inability to maintain these levels under Pochettino have been the catalyst behind the fans dissent, as this has been festering for 2-3 years. We are to some degree victims of our past success.I was there myself and, in the main, I don’t approve and have never booed any player or the team collectively. and are emotionally invested for better or for worse.
It didnt help his cause once he got that yellow, but i like him and hope more work under conte can help himHe had a bad game today. Jose said he's at his best at full back, and I tend to agree with that. He's not a winger, and he's alright at CB. But to be honest we were poor covering that flank overall today.
