This is the one I had wanted all summer. Pushes CE(if he stays) and ultimately, gives us another option moving forward over a long season. I like the fact he has some Argie spice to his game also, something lacking when Erik isn't in the lineup.

Very excited by this signing.

Here's to the new season!!

Crackers just said on TalkSport that Lo Celso and Sessegnon are all done. He’s at the training ground and spoke to a source, apparently.

I just have flashbacks to that crystal palace cup game where we only had 3 attackers and looked fucking horrible.
Fine, rejigged for the sake of your mental health :ROFLMAO:

Dier Sissoko
Lucas Lamela Sessegnon
Parrott
——————————————————————
Kane
Son Dele Lo Celso

With Whiteman, Tanganga and Skipp cheerleading.

Interesting to see what happens to CE now? Could LC and CE play together?

I don't see why not - from what I can see GLC tends to play a bit deeper than Eriksen usually does. Would be wonderful if Eriksen decided to stay and got focused again.

Would be good to see CE get his mojo back. We have been over reliant on him and not invested for a while. Perhaps he may see this window as us showing a little courage and looking to challenge.

I'd anticipate that we will use the diamond now with Winks in the pirlo spot, ndombele and Lo Celso in the middle and a creative player in the 10 role. I imagine with dele being injured that it's lamelas to lose at this point.

I fear a little for Dele. It's unlikely we have just bought 2 expensive midfielders to sit on the bench. Great that we may have a bench to influence games but I don't think Dele is that number 10.

That sounds absolutely sexy - on paper anyway.

If it were up to me then Dele would be in that second striker spot but then we lose Son, not a bad problem to have. I'm sure we will rotate and go with 4-4-2 with Dele next to Kane and two wingers with one of them being more creative like Lamela.

Seems to be a clever move from Levy.
Barring late hitch Lo Celso will be a #thfc player. Final fee I’m told could eventually reach £69m but Spurs only paying initial £14.7m loan fee. Becomes permanent if they qualify for the UCL. If they don’t, they get to choose. Absolute steal considering release clause was £88m

Another journo completely failing to understand how a release clause works.

I'd have feared more for Dele if the Dybala deal had come off

The news for most of the summer was betis wanted the release clause and wouldn't go lower. Not many people pay release clauses but betis seemed adamant

He will get plenty of games especially if Eriksen does leave.

I really wish I knew more about Lo Celso. I'm putting my faith in others who have, presumably, watched a lot of him and tell us he's good. Just wish I had paid more attention to him in games so I could have formed my own opinion cause I know close to nothing about him.
