seen on Spurs-web

Seems to be a clever move from Levy.
Barring late hitch Lo Celso will be a #thfc player. Final fee I’m told could eventually reach £69m but Spurs only paying initial £14.7m loan fee. Becomes permanent if they qualify for the UCL. If they don’t, they get to choose. Absolute steal considering release clause was £88m

I really wish I knew more about Lo Celso. I'm putting my faith in others who have, presumably, watched a lot of him and tell us he's good. Just wish I had paid more attention to him in games so I could have formed my own opinion cause I know close to nothing about him.

Just go with the flow. Plus, he’s got a cool name!

He's Argentinian - so is Poch!
He plays in midfield - so does Eriksen
He looks good and has good hair - this is a pre-requisite for Spurs
He's New
He's Shiny!
And of course we know lots about his ability.............that's what YOUTUBE is for!!

What more do you want!!? - sheeesh!

Wonder where Hercules is, His nuts look well and truly secure you'd think he'd be in here celebrating their safe return

The news for most of the summer was betis wanted the release clause and wouldn't go lower. Not many people pay release clauses but betis seemed adamant
That still doesn't make the release clause, which is usually set way higher than valuation, a sound measure of steal-ness.

I'm shit at lyrics but for some reason the song Copacabana keeps popping in my head for him.,..

His name is Gio, Gio Lo Celso
With that Argentina flair, he leaves defenders everywher

Like I said, I'm shit...somebody else figure out lyrics

If I say you can buy my used socks for £100,000, does that make £70,000 an absolute steal?
If for some reason I wanted your used socks and I was willing to pay an extortionate amount and got them for less than you were asking and i was prepared to pay then yes

Wouldn't it be easier to admit that if asking price is higher than market price, market price still wouldn't represent a steal?

Still would have prefered Grealish :cautious:

Seriously though, so happy this one is done. For me Ndombele and Lo Celso are massive signings. I honestly believe they're as big as Alisson and Van Dijk were for Liverpool last summer. The difference could be if we keep Eriksen when they sold Coutinho it could be argued we had a better summer than there's. I felt before the window we needed 3 signings and then if we sold any top players replace them on top. So if we keep all our star players we might just challenge this season. COYS!
