And for every Andy Robertson and Kane you have 10 times if not even more "promising" players who don't make it. Aarons and Sessegnon don't have anything special in their lockers. Robertson had work ethic, pace and a good head on his shoulders and Kane great movement, insane work rate and a great shot.
Aarons and Sessegnon are average in every single aspect of their game. They're not fast or athletic at all, they're positionally below average, average crossers and average passers. Sessegnon has decent movement when deployed on the wing and Aarons has slightly above average dribbling and that's it. They were good in the championship but I seriously doubt they'll be anything more than average in the prem. I mean, newly promoted Fulham recently stated that they won't take Sessegnon on loan as they stated he's not good enough.

Robertson have a good head on his shoulders at Dundee did he? :)

Sorry but a guy who won championship player of the year at 17 isn’t average at every single aspect of the game LOL

How is Michu doing nowadays? There's been plenty one season wonders who's had one productive season in their career and then stalled in their development as they lack the tools to succeed long term.

Whats Michu got to do with it?

I really don't get your point.

He won the award due to one productive season in a subpar league. Michu also had an absolutely incredible debut season in the prem. Two or three seasons after that he was playing fifth tier football or something along those lines.
Sess has shown absolutely nothing since then to prove anyone that he'll make it at the top or that he's even any kind of progress at all.

I remember being downvoted like this when I was highly against us buying Janssen, Clinton and Nkoudou as well. Time will tell.

Yeah, isn't that great movement and a great shot what did Sessegnon that highly rated? They are not fast? haha. Average crossers? Sessegnon last season and Aarons this season had higher or the same % of cross accuracy than Robertson in his last 4 seasons.
Fulham stated it more as they are deluded not as he's not good enough for him.

Just out of interest do you consider yourself a better judge than professional managers?
Jose is not sanctioning a lone for Sess even though he is getting ample offers. If he was that average you'd think he would be rubbing his hands at the opportunity to get rid and free up space on his squad just a thought.

Yes, Sess has great movement as a winger but is woefully bad at positioning himself and winning the ball when playing at LB. He found himself in good positions and has decent finishing, yet I'd argue that is a bonus rather than an important tool for an LB. He's an average crosser and average passer. Aarons had a 2% higher percentage than Robertson yes but also hit one third (73) of the amount of crosses Robertson hit (210).
As stated, Sess and Aarons will likely regular prem players in the end. Just not good enough for us.

Because he basically had a career ending ankle injury.

Such a weird flex.

I wouldn't dare. A professional is a professional. However, even professionals are wrong sometimes as seen with us purchasing Janssen and Ndombele, United purchasing Sanchez and the list goes on and on. No one can make the right call at all times and I most certainly wouldn't be able to and I'm not claiming to either.

I'm simply stating my opinion that Aarons shouldn't be a target for us and that Sess likely won't succeed with us.

Weird flex?

There's an extensive list of players who had one great season, were tipped for greatness and didn't make it to the top in the end and several of them were youngsters.

About Clinton:
Looks very decent on the video but I've never seen a game with him so can't say too much. Seems like 12m is a bit steep though

And looking by your posts you didn't say anything against buying Janssen and Nkoudou :)
