A 5-6 year plan? I wonder how long it took him to set up his scheduler to send him an alert each 6 months to remind him to play the race card and get a glass engraver to pop round and put "you don't need to do any actual lower league managerial work, you're Sol Campbell" into all of his full length mirrors

It's something in the water at Arsenal. Bendtner had a 5 year plan after which he reckoned he would be one of the best strikers in the world. That plan should have come to fruition in 2014.

He was recently released on a free transfer by Wolfsburg and is now plying his trade at Forest.

I have an admission to make, when he went to Arsenal and the way that he did it I thought he was a rather unpleasant person who couldn't give a toss about anyone but himself and whose high opinion of himself flew in the face of all the evidence to the contrary but after a little while, and this is my admission, I wondered if I had misjudged him and he was just following injudicious advice.
Ever since then he has been on a one man crusade to confirm my first instincts.
I bet that in six years he will still be at it.
