I don't think anything can overshadow what we're seeing right now, bud. Everyone can see we're in crisis. If it makes more of a splash on the the back pages than the result itself, it'll be for reasons the media choose, not because Jose happened to say it.

But I watched that **** OGS's post-match comments about Sonny and I wanted to smack him in his stupid face. More than I usually do when I see him. Usually I want to smack him so hard he fucks off back to Middle Earth. This time I wanted to go full Sauron on the prick.
Love a bit of Harry Potter. Ole can do one back to gargamels Castle.

I don't get the keep him for the final mantra.

Its moronic. We're on a downward spiral with no look of hunger or togetherness about the squad.

A ship sinking fast, make the change Daniel.

Not a Mourinho lover and I do feel it may be time to cut our losses however, to play devil's advocate, Pochettino saw this coming and Levy fired him because it was cheaper than buying players to replace the bad eggs. Levy and the board are just as responsible and should take the appropriate responsibility here as well.

@Marty Apparently what Ole said about his son not getting any food is a Norwegian saying, in other words his son would get punished, this true? Not sure if it was meant in a literal sense?
It doesnt matter how he meant it or if it's a saying IMO

You've just won 3-1 and should have the grace to be happy with that, not take a dig at a player who is an honest professional, especially when you actively encourage players to dive and have two of the worst ones in your team.

I hope this comes back to bite him hard.

Spot on. Jose needs to go, but he's not the only one.

I just read a post on another site . The score is 1-1 both teams want to win Jose brings on Sissoko they bring on Greenwood that is unforgivable . The other thing pointed out is that Joses signings Vinnie / Gedson / Doherty / were on Mendes books who I believe is Jose,s man.
The whole thing stinks and I jokingly said " is he trying to get sacked on purpose to get a higher pay off " it does not seem so off the wall after todays substitution when needing to score to win he brings on Sissoko it is like he is planted to cause problems .
Strange thing that you bring up the Jorge Mendes agent talk.

Earlier today I was reading an article about Frank Arnesen's clash with Mourinho back in Chelsea. (for Danish readers it's here: (https://www.bold.dk/snak/index.php?action=thread&id=5256316)

In the article Arnesen explains why he and José clashed. He says that Mourinho was was very focused on bringing in the Jorge Mendes players. Arnesen then confronted him saying that "Roman wanted them to work together" Mourinho didn't like that, and from then the relationship was destroyed, and was never healed again.

Hes clearly lost son. Not just him blanking him but him saying we all know why but I cant say when Son was asked why we keep throwing away leads. Son knows its because we are negative. If you can lose the nicest human being on the planet to that extent then you cant continue to manage the team. I would be willing to go and protest outside the training ground tomorrow with Jose out signs if anyone else is up for it I feel this is our last chance to salvage the season. We are 7 points of Leicester and play them last game we absolutely need to make the change now we cant wait one more game.

That about sums it up:

'The comeback itself was no shock; the feeble nature of it was startling. Tottenham have squandered leads before in every conceivable manner but this was an alarming level of cowardice. In the 40 minutes up to and including Son’s opening goal they had three shots to one and 56.9% possession with an 84% pass-success rate. In the 17 subsequent minutes up to and including Fred’s equaliser they had one shot (off-target) to four (all on-target) and 26.3% possession with a 64% pass-success rate.

Game state is a thing but that is pathetic. Tottenham wilfully ceded the ascendancy and by the time Manchester United’s goal sparked them into something resembling action, the visitors had already settled into a rhythm that was unlikely to be affected by the sight of Sissoko warming up on the touchline. The defeatist approach after going ahead was either a managerial directive or indicative of a team gaslighted into viewing every game as a tightrope walk during which your coach stands on the sidelines throwing rubbish at you and demanding you keep your balance. Neither reflects well on the highly-paid fella in charge.'

He's lived here for 25 years. Zero excuses imo.

Mourinho can poke his interview slipperiness.

He can poke his digs at the players, whether they perform for him or not.

He can poke his references to his past trophies. That's where they are, in the past.

He's destroying our club, and I want him gone.

Some of us fell into the trap believeing that having Mendes do us favours would be a good thing as we normally miss out on players who these agents whore out to bigger clubs.

But it is starting to seem like it's not a great strategy to have in today's game. Plenty of talent out there that can be got without the need for a super agent to help you out.

The Doherty one is a great example. Obviously Mendes knew all the ins and outs, Spurs needed a RB, Jose wanted a tall RB, as opposed to someone like Aarons who the club had been tracking for a while.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Doherty just randomly came up one day as a suggestion and we'd done no real scouting or analysis in him. But because we knew he was cheap and Mourinho was persuaded by Mendes we went for it.

I hope we never do these kinds of signings again
