Has to play Son or Dele upfront, enough of Lucas on his own !
Of course he would be briefed, won’t stop him being pissed, just like Poch was. And refusing unfavourable alternatives was something Poch has been bashed for since. Why is there always the assumption (misguided, in my opinion), that the manager isn't fully briefed by the board & chairman on transfer developments! WRT a new forward, how do you know its not Mourinho who's said, "no, we'll wait then", when presented with unfavourable alternatives?
Ok, I'm going to come out of the closet, I have never liked JM, never will. I was happy when he got sacked from Utd, not just because they were in the poo, but because him and the circus he brings with him were out of the premier league. Yeah, he will probably win us something in the next 18 months, but do I want to pay the price of listening to his egotistical mutterings or his lies, his style of play and eventually leaving on some huge pay out, I don't think I am.
He has been the same at every club he has been at, all smiles etc in the beginning, but eventually the mask will slip and we will see the real Jose. I fear what the club will be like when he does go, even if he brings us some shiny things.
We will see what legacy he will leave, but a bit of my Tottenham soul died when he was appointed.
I'm actually yet to see any facts that Poche was "pissed" as you've so eloquently put it. That's all here say, much as we're suggesting here. People don't actually know for certain, just following their agendaOf course he would be briefed, won’t stop him being pissed, just like Poch was. And refusing unfavourable alternatives was something Poch has been bashed for since.
I get your points and concerns on Jose for sure but mate we’ve been crying out for the kind of manager who will get us over the line to win something for years.Ok, I'm going to come out of the closet, I have never liked JM, never will. Do you hold Ramos in higher regard than Poch?
How bad of a state did jose leave porto, inter, madrid and Chelsea in?
Am I the only one thinking ( and hoping ) that JM will be here much longer than his usual 3 years and move on.
Who cares?
Jose's first 3 signings at the club.....Gedson, 21 loan with permanent option, Lo Celso, 23 permanent deal, Bergwijn, 22 permanent.
Average age 22, total out of his budget for all three internationals that represent Portugal, Argentina and Holland as it stands..... £55m. So far it looks far from a manager who will be reckless and leave us in turmoil.
Only 2 signings
Lo Celso is not a JM signing .... he was always going to sign, no one pays a 16M loan fee .... it was clever savvy business acumen to get the overall price down as betis would have to pay PSG 20% sell on fee, but you dont pay anythng on the loan fee, only the remainder circa 23M we paid to betis.
My reply was to someone saying they fear what state the club will be in when he goes?Who cares?
Interested to see what Jose says about his striking options in the press conference ahead of the City game
He was surprisingly cheerful about it.
