Because it is very rare for a manager to come in and completely turn things around mid-season in such a short space of time.

I don't mind criticism and critiquing of situations but so much of it is unrealistic.
It's not unrealistic to have a progressive plan IMO.
It's a tough one because I see Mourinho as a winner his got the medals as proof. There is a sense though his tactics and methods of late post Kane and Son are outdated. I guess we need to wait and see.

Mourinho is on borrowed time, you can only hide behind injuries for so long. Such flat negative tactics and performances and not playing to your players strengths will eventually bite you on the arse, piss off all the players and fans in the process. I give him till christmas and would be surprised if he ain't gone. Seen nothing to suggest he isnt a has been living on past reputation. Moans about the players been knackered then like poch continues to use the same few players, you can predict the subs before the kickoff, the rest on the bench like skipp was never in consideration for an appearance. Be glad when hes gone.

Interesting on BT sport how crouch GudJohnson and Rio said son and Kane out is still no excuse to play so negatively and Gudjohnson and crouch as attacking players said they’d absolutely hate to play in a team who plays like this and when they’ve both done it before at Iceland and stoke respectively that it made them depressed as they come off the pitch exhausted feeling like they’ve not played football, doesn’t bode well and possibly a reason why Jose’s squads go sour as players just get sick of playing in this style these days.

It could we be the case these days because they are all multimillionaire and would rather do their own thing than have to be shackled into a certain system which obviously they’d prefer not to be playing in

The truth is they know fuck all as apposed to their current manager who pretty much knows everything. If they do exactly what they are told they will win silverware. If they don’t all buy into it then they’ll win fuck all and we'll be back to square one soon!!

Unfortunately you could very well be right. Hazard certainly got fed up playing Mourinhoball after one very successful season. Maybe players today can’t even wait that long

We shall see

Completely different point though isn't it? I said a progressive coach was unlikely to turn our club around within 5 months and you disagreed, and now you've changed to whether Jose is right long term.

Mourinho needs time, a lot of these players are broken/finished/adapting.
Give him a full pre season another 2 transfer windows and see where we are this time next season. It’s not a quick fix, it wasn’t with poch and it won’t be with Jose

Opinions is one thing, but irrationality is another. Lamela not fit, as JM said in his presser, TN still struggling with injury that he has had all season. Our now 2 main strikers out, Moussa out. I just cannot understand what people expect with the football we have to watch. We have pundits chipping in now. Let’s just sack JM now then. Why the f can we not just be grateful we are not in a relegation scrap. That is how it was when he come in. We were extremely offensive early doors, until injuries crept in.

This season I take what we get, and hope for changes in the summer. Only then can you judge him.

The issue for me is the way we set up. We set up to give the ball away and chase shadows. He refuses to go after any team because we don't have a striker. But what does that have to do with giving players freedom to support attack or work the ball forward?

Losing to Chelsea twice is bollocks when he didn't even try to win. He did the same against Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Leipzig and even Southampton. Imagine having a manager that has zero faith in your ability as a team that he wants to park the bus against everyone. This had to be more physically and mentally draining than actually trying to play football.

Another 2 windows??

You mean another 3 unless we sign 5+ in the summer because we’ll sign fuck all of any note next January

And saying all that Dan has form on signing last minute giving his coaches even less time to work with them pre season!!

Progressive coach, traditiotional coach, whatever kind of coach, can't see how to set this squad offensively to compete on needed level with players currently on disposal. Hence not going to blame Jose on current performances. I just can't see how.

I posed the question about his assistant/coach . Do you remember what was said by Mourinho when he first got the job?

Again, I asked if you thought a progressive manager would have turned our club around within 5 months to which you said "why not." Then you changed to saying he is not right ling term.

Jose talks a lot so by all means tell me which thing he said that you are referring to but as you are incapable of discussing a point I see little value in it.

Transfer windows under Levy. That’ll be a knew experience for JM. I’m really not hopeful at all.

maybe but Id argue if we had either Crouch or Gudjohnsen in their Spurs versions now we'd be in better shape than we are. Look at what we have:
Moura - one goal every 4 games over his Spurs career
Lamela - one goal every 6 games over his Spurs career
Alli - one goal every 3 1/2 games comes out at the head of the class
Bergwijn - 22 years old and been at the club less than a month
Lo Celso - the wild card I guess

Those players can score, we just lack the player up front to help them get the goals out of them. And we know it, otherwise we wouldn't have been calling all over China on deadline day. But we never should have been on that situation since we knew about Kane injury early on. Now we will probably rush Kane back too early yet again.

I just don’t know what to feel or think anymore. I’m not sure I even care anymore. Last time I felt like this was when Timmy was in charge.

Same. we've gone from being the team and manager everyone respects and envy’s and is jealous of especially those woolwich folk, now we are an awful mess everyone is laughing at, embarrassing and depressing club right now.

I get what you are saying but we have actually spent more than most in the last year and I believe Jose will be backed in the summer

Even with son and or Kane we set up so so negatively and it’s not what a club like us should be doing in ho,e games or in games vs e.g. Norwich, Southampton etc, it’s embarrassing and boring.
